It is a great idea. Think I will put it as my phone wall paper.

It has helped a lot, I plan to change it when I am working towards each goal, it is a great visual to prevent me spending money :)

Paid £300 to mum and a bit more in my over draft and I got below £9000 debt :j I can't believe I have already paid £1500 off in such a short space of time. I should have done this a long time ago but I had too many bad addictions standing in my way, I will get below £8000 this month if it kills me.

Tonight's plan is to have a clear out as I have loads of stuff that can go on Ebay and I can clear a bit more debt faster. Me and DD are both taking packed lunches as they are both a lot cheaper and then I don't spend anything during the week, I used to pop into Tesco for a few bits during the week which always turned into a lot of few bits that's another habit I have stopped and it makes such a difference to my bank balance.

Right best get to work :)

  • I think I am slightly obsessed with my budget, I spent half and hour this morning trying to work out why there was 41p more in my bank than on my calendar budget until I realised I have put my WFTC in with 41p less than I actually get paid.

If I can keep on track like I am it will only be a good thing as I will get my debt paid :j

    My plan is as follows:
Friend - paid by October 2015
Mum - paid by January 2016
DWP - paid by February 2015
Brother - paid by February 2015
Over draft - paid by March 2015

Hopefully I can manage that then it will be deposit time :j:j:j:j:j:j:j I am so excited by the thought of owning my own house. I will finally be able to make it the way I want and no-one will be able to say no to me, I want a safe garden for my dog and the downstairs toilet gone as its taking a third of my kitchen space up, this is it I know it is no more gambling and new habits are forming.

  • Today will be quiet on the debt busting front as I have paid all I can until Friday, I look forward to money coming in my account days so that I can make another payment off my debt. I am looking forward to the day that the money will go towards buying my house instead. I can't believe the new habits I'm getting and they haven't took too long to form either.

I have decided me DD and the crazy one (my border collie) are going to go to a cottage on a week long walking holiday next summer as it's not good being all about debt busting and saving I want something to look forward to as well, we can't go away this year so it will be our main holiday next year. The crazy one will love it he loves walking and has become my walking buddy every night to de stress from work and just clear my head. I took him out a lot when I first stopped gambling he became my crutch and he didn't mind I needed time out to stop me gambling as he got to do the one thing he loves, walk,

Well enough rambling for one day :)

I have put two items on ebay and hopefully they will sell, I will either give the money to my brother or my over draft. Fingers crossed they sell :)

This time all I think about is my budget and I have juggled it about and my pay off date should be 11th March 2016, it isn't a long time really in the scheme of things I just need to keep focused on my goal of my house and not go back to how I used to be.

Next week will be the smallest payment as a lot of my direct debits go out then, it's going to really annoy me waiting until Friday to make a payment, if my ebay stuff sells I will at least be able to make a small payment before then, or hopefully I can make a small under payment on my food bill.

  • I have decided I will use my credit card for food and pay it every 4 weeks then I can see at the end of each 4 weeks what I have to put into my over draft or other debts. My second job pays four weekly so I will start using it from this Saturday and just pay it next pay day.

I have done a spreadsheet today of meals on a four weekly rota with a shopping list for each week which I can tick off the things I have and it will make it easier to just get the foods I need. I have never been this organised in the past and I think it will make it easier to stay on budget properly. I'm not really missing out on anything and I am eating better and cooking from scratch every night, I have found a new love for cooking.

I am really looking forward to tomorrow as I can pay my friend another £100 and £20 to DWP so my paid of percentage will go up a little more. It is so easy with my calendar budget as a visual I just follow it day by day. I have quite a lot of ecig liquids at the moment so I don't need to order any next week so that will save me £5.
