There seem to be a crazy amount of listing offers at the moment - just at a time when I have nothing to list!Early retired - 18th December 2014

You've been a great seller this year, so we're rewarding
you with 100 free listings and 75% off final value fees!*
Hurry, offer must end 8 Dece!mber 20!15.
Just when I made the most of 100 free listing the weekend gone! I was not going to list any more till after Christmas! Now they are offering 75% off FVF!
I took advantage of free listings and 50% off FVF and sold some high value items and saved a good amount in fees
I will have to find some more things to list and take advantage this latest offer as saving on fees is great0 -
It will be interesting to see what changes eBay introduces in the next few months.
There was a publicly advertised unlimited free listing offer in January -- which I was not invited to -- followed by unlimited free listing offers for the whole of February and March (which I was invited to join).
In February, I wasn't included in the usual weekend listing offers (not that it really mattered...I didn't have time to sell any more than I did!). This week, I was: ON TOP OF the unlimited free listings for March, I have 100 free listings at 35% off FVF.
I am sure they are experimenting to discover what encourages sellers to list more. The increasing numbers of free listing offers over the past few years have already hinted at this, so do you think eBay is moving closer to permanent unlimited free listing?0 -

Also, free listings encourage a lot of rubbish being listed, if you don't have to pay you could clog eBay up with rubbish for years and mask the new and better items being listed.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Just wondering how many of you cancel existing listings to take advantage of better offers?
I listed a load of things last week on 30 day BIN with the 35% off FVF offer and now have the 50% off offer too.
Contemplating whether to end the other listings and relist with the new one. I presume eBay are wise to people doing this and are okay with it?Sealed pot challenge: number 0830 -

I rarely bother with all these free listings- they are never ending. I have made a bit of an effort today only to find that ebay is so full of glitches it is barely usable.
My tip would be not to cancel any listings until you know that you can relist and are not affected by the glitches.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Started to list this morning, and couldn't remember if I had the offer of free listings for March, so had a look at the bottom of my page to tell me. Nothing there, but had my usual free 20 per month available.
Listed 2 items then checked bottom of page to see if they were coming off my free 20.
And there was the offer for free 100 listings with 50% off fvf. No e-mail, no notification, just appeared.
Trouble is if I hadn't checked, my items would have just been free listing as I hadn't accepted the offer.
Keep your eye on the bottom of the page.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -

I have moved a couple of chat posts over to this thread from the main alert thread.100 free and 50% off? How does that work? I listed my 21st yesterday and got the 35p charge.
Not sure what you mean?
100 free listings and 50% off FVFs seems self explanatory to me.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
