There also seems to be a HVR200-A2 model.
I'm trying to find out exactly what the difference is.
That's the older 580W model without the Hi/Lo switchInfidel wrote:If I do go for a Henry I thought I may as well get some bags at the same time so they're here whenever needed.
It comes with three bags. We've had ours for 7 months and haven't filled one yet - this is despite doing a number of DIY jobs that have involved the sucking up of lots of dust & nastiness. I'm going to stick to the regular Hepaflo bags - they work fine and are cheap enough.srm1 wrote:Three pages of posts about buying a vacuum cleaner?

Thanks again for everyone's input on this thread. I decided Dyson's are overpriced and flimsy. Had a good read about Miele - but in the end have chosen to give The Henry HVR200-12 a go for a touch under £100 (including delivery). I think the thought of a smile during the winter months was what tipped the balance in the end.
If any of you guys have any recommendationw and/or comments about a Fridge Freezer then feel free to pop over to my new thread here. Thanks again. ;-pInstigated terrorism the road to dictatorship.0 -
Henry all the way for me, we have the special tool for carpets which gives the same results as an upright.0

Vacuum cleaner should be different for laminate or the hardwood flooring or for carpets at home. My neighbors had recently got the services of cleaning and improvement of the flooring. They got that from plus.google.com/106323115684925403520 and the services they got were good.0

Hi, I suggest you to use Dyson V6 Cord-Free Vacuum. It is cord-free vacuum cleaner. It can suck ground-in dirt from carpets or any floor surface instantly. I have been using this vacuum cleaner for carpet. When you starting vacuuming some common mistake you have done. These mistake are like vacuum too quickly, don't adjust height and much more.0

My Henry has provided years of sterling service (he's over 30 years old now and has had several replacement hoses over the years), but the Miele C3 cat and dog is hands down the best vacuum cleaner I've ever used.0

Old thread, but most people aren't considering the wooden floors mentioned. They mark very easily compared to laminate.0
