Thank for all pointing out the fee is very small so it's not going to drain the bank account. However, I still feel it is not necessary for me.
Thanks again.
But if it is how your daughter wants to keep in touch with you, it is necessary for you to have it installed. Maybe you can't see the advantage to yourself, but there may be an advantage to her...0 -

For every person I know with Viber there are 10 with Whatsapp.
'Telegram' has a secret chat function which also deletes after a set interval, useful for sending account details or where the key is hidden.
But I have just received my first spam on WhatsApp, 'Work from home' - how did that happen. . . ?Evolution, not revolution0 -
I uninstalled Viber because:-
Nobody I knew used it
The only usage it got was when random spammers tried to contact me0 -
I use What's App to speak to son and family who live abroad plus other two sons who live in UK but not locally to us. Saves money for them to send pictures of grandchildren. It was free for so long and then I had to pay ........all of 69p. Totally worth it IMHO as to send photo's via multi media would cost a fortune. Youngest son setup "family chat" and it is excellent. So please don't berate your daughter for doing this, go with the flow and accept her thoughtfulness without complaining and be grateful she wants to bring you up into her world 😀. You would be more upset if she didn't want to let you in..............0
