Gettingtherequickly wrote: »MSE came in to my life
Helped me to deal with financial strife
Now I have cash with knowledge anew
My life is no longer the depths of blue.
I keep reading the forums
May not respond
But the advice remains
The MSE forum bond.
Quick to advise
Quick to critique
Nothing should be taken
In a fit of pique.
The journey may be long
With bumps on the way
But MSE focus
Prevents going astray.
So as you meander
Through life's winding way
Retain some of the knowledge
As you survive each day.
For as you lay down to sleep
You're another day closer
That light in the distance
Is beaming more intense
As the pounds once owed
Are now becoming pence.
Amazing!

I wrote a rugby haiku on Twitter and I think I wore my brain out

Spinkz is great
Spinkz is the best
When the night is late
I want to caress his chest
These thoughts of joy
I must deflect
I've fallen for the boy
Who has the Spinkz effect
He's the one for me
True love i've felt
When he enters MSE
All the birds melt
He caught my eye
With his cheeky winks
I guess this is why
The birds all love Spinkz!

I wrote this 35 years ago when i was 12 -
One night as I was walking by
I saw a rat with gleaming eyes
It scuttled down its hole in fright
As i walked out into the night.
I walked along a little way
and then i stopped and stared
For there in the road was a big brown bear.
With silver claws and gleaming hair.
I said 'what are you doing there'?
The big brown bear said 'Grrr'
I ran back home to tell my mam
of what i'd seen that night,
But all she said was 'time for bed'
and she turned out the light!0 -
This is my 16 year old daughters poem that she wrote at schhol today -
Light is not happiness,
Happiness is an emotion,
Something you feel,
Light engulfs you,
Swallows you whole,
Fills you with radiance until you feel like you can't breathe,
Illuminating everything around you,
Light is the last song of the night,
It's laughing until you cry,
Reading your favourite book all night,
The smell of your mothers perfume on her favourite scarf,
Light is your best friend saying'text me when you're home safe',
Light is in everyday moments you take for granted,
Light is not happiness,
It is so much more.
Sorry for the poor punctuation, i copied it in a rush!!0 -
