Not even your husband? Give it a go.

The french and other european families bath together for ages!!! I feel comfortable being naked around my children. It is completly just a human body, nothing more too it. That is how i choose to raise my kids!! With openness about life, the human body.... not making it weird or anything. There will come a time when they no longer want to bath with you.... and then it will probably never happen again!!0

with all three of my kids they liked to bathe with me as small children - but each of them made their own decisions when to stop. I think you stop when they decide they prefer to bath on their own.0

Noooo. In early days of marriage, having a bath together sounded sexy and romantic.
Reality was it was a pain - too many limbs, not enough space and certainly no comfort should you try some loving time. Limbs against enamel - ouch! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

My 8 yr dd old would happily get in the bath with me. The 11 year old, no chance. It stopped when she was bout 8 or 9. To be honest it's probably more of a space issue in our bath because it's quite small. Both dd's constantly come into the bathroom while im in the bath. Either to go to the toilet or just have a chat. It's a running joke between me and the hubby that I haven't had a bath on my own for 11 years.
If you and your child are both comfortable then it's fine. It nobody else's business. It will stop naturally in the future.
11 years? Lucky you. I've often had the girls and the dogs upstairs in the bathroom with me.
My eldest stopped wanting to see me naked about 11\12 but the other two weren't bothered. I've always wandered about with no clothes on and they've all been bought up the same so i don't know why the eldest was different. My girls are 27 and 23 now and none are living at home. However it's only recently that the last one has moved out and she would often come and talk to me while I was in the bath. She'd often hop in the bath after me and have no qualms about undressing whilst I was getting out and getting dried. Her sister is the same, she'll arrange to visit at the same time as I'm in the bath so she can go in after me as she had no bath at home. Sometimes they both used to come and talk to me, have a wee, chat about the day, whatever. Never bothered us.0 -
I haven't thought about this. I have bath-showers with my 4 year old and 6 year old, i.e. we put the plug in, I have a quick shower and then they can have a little play.
My 6 year old is getting a bit more conscious of her body, her sister is not allowed in the bathroom when she is in the bath, but anyone else is, so maybe this is just a sibling thing.
I still walk around butt naked in front of the two of them, thinking maybe I should stop soon!Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Ah, don't worry. My mum has no problem walking round starkers when I come to visit, and I'm a lot older than 6!
(Although, I don't think she does when my brothers visit, I've never asked!)0 -

Well, I will say its not ideal if you've only got a corner bath! :rotfl:0
