    Thanks Bossy for the list!

I'm in this week although I'm starting the week with a clean right through in theory. ;) I'm working Thursday, DD is off Thursday afternoon (Its the schools Open Evening), then all day Friday for inset so we're going to run errands like buying cards and some gloves for her as she's already lost 1! I have my lists written out already based on last weeks list, so I'm going to do those and then this week I can just add in any jobs I haven't already done ;) I'm hoping to get some more coats of paint on the front door this week so I can clear all the gubbins to do with that away.

    Personal:
    - Wash up incl. new slowcooker & breadmaker bits
    - Make dentist appointment for DD as she's chipped a tooth and its hurting
    - Look at gas and elec renewal
    - Tea in sc
    - Find DD's brolly which she is insisting isn't in her school bag...I'll check the bag when she gets home then look elsewhere :rotfl:
    - Start shopping lists for different shops - in progress on a scrap piece of paper, they need to go in my shopping notebook (sick of loosing the papers or forgetting one of the lists so I use an A6 notebook instead now ;))
    - vacuum hall/stairs/landing
    - dust hall/stairs/landing
    - WM (lights, darks, towels, dog, cleaning cloths)
    Livingroom
    - [STRIKE]Tidy right through[/STRIKE]

    Bathroom
    - Clean bath (put mat in wash)
    - Clean sink
    - Clean toilet
    - Wash towels etc

    Master bedroom
    - [STRIKE]Stuff Away[/STRIKE]
    - Dust
    - Sort charity boxes out
    - Organise wardrobe again (DD puts the ironing away by just hanging it all on the rail whereas I sort it into like items :o)
    - Wipe paintwork
    - Clean window and mirrors
    - Vacuum
    DD's bedroom
    - [STRIKE]Tidy everything away properly[/STRIKE]
    - Dust
    - Wipe paintwork

    Happy Monday: Kitchen

Remove floor gubbins. Yes, you, that pile over by the door. Does it live there? I think not!
Now do the same with the unnecessary worktop clutter! There you go! Well done!
    Level 2
Give the work tops and cupboard fronts your attention (with a cloth, don't flutter your eyelashes at them ;))
Shine your sink, flylady basics :)
Splash backs and greasy tiles? Yep, swishy there too!
    Level 3
Pop the bin and doormat outside, and sweep and mop your floor
    Wipe over the small appliances
    Extras:
    • Descaling. Kettle, iron, taps - get the vinegar out!
    • Wipe over your big appliances
    • run the WM and/or DW on a hot wash to keep its insides happy ;)
    • check over your herbs and spices. Are they any all dried and stuck in the bottom?
Well its 9.30 gone and my coffee is finished so I'm off to do HHC

I am cleaned and have had breakfast. Understairs cupboard tidied after student box removal.

Advantages of childfreehome - I can hang my towels on the towel rail in the bathroom. (The only other towel in use is the handtowel) When I hang the bathmat up after I have showered it stays there! (Other people leave it on the floor, where, of course, it won't dry!)

(see - always looking on the bright side, me)

  • Morning all! Thank you Bossy and Natty for the lists.

Ironing all sorted and collected. Should be back by 6.30 tonight.

Up and dressed for the 4th day running. Feeling so much better. Just need some more energy now.

Hugs to everyone, especially those missing kids who are back at Uni. I miss DD1 who has only moved to the other side of York. She is loving the independence, but has discovered that her best mate is about as tidy as her brother is. Hopefully she will sort some of her stuff that is still all over the place here.

  • Thanks for the lists. I will try this again this week, although I feel I should be doing my non-paying work instead, which clearly leaves me unable to do anything productive. Must work on the procrastinating thing.
