Awww DM's got a new friend.

Not convinced it's not him again though and he's just sat talking to himself in real life and on here.

Yes I have. They previously charged me £144 premium for the upgraded suspension. They said they won't charge extra for the upgraded 18 inch S line alloys and front S line bumper when I get them fitted. I'm not really an Audi fan but this will have to do till I get a proper drivers car like the mighty M
If you're not even an Audi fan why would you be adding a new fancy Audi front bumper to it, instead of saving up faster for the new car that you actually want? I presume it's not because you think you'll improve the resale value by having a pretty bodykit, because you've said you're not going to bother getting the matching rear bumper.

This whole troll thread is full of nonsense.

Another alter ego from a dreamer.

My fantasy car is better than your fantasy car.

Because I think of it as a hobbie? I did say I'll keep this car for another couple of years at least. I know resale value will go down after modification but its my car and I can do as I wish. Who said anything about 'fancy new'? Don't worry your little self on how much I spend.

Tykesi you sound like one of those people with a chip on their shoulder. Mad at people who have nicer cars because you driver a lesser one.

Depends which he decides he wants to imagine on the day.

One day he could imagine he has an M and the next day he can imagine it's an M-Sport.

That's the beauty of imaginary cars.
As above. You don't know anything about cars so just keep driving your eco-box and stay quiet on topics like these

You are aware that the cars you have on Forza or GT are virtual?

I'm not worried. You can of course do what you wish. It just seems bizarre that you would get a new front bumper (or second-hand front bumper), get it properly painted to blend in with the however-many-years' old paint you have on the rest of the front of the car, enlarge the wheels and add better suspension, bump up your insurance bracket as a result of the mods to this 2 litre diesel family car... but not bother to do the rear at all so that you suffer extra depreciation when any prospective buyer sees it as a half-and-half car, a diesel partly upgraded by a chav who seems to have run out of money part way through the project.

To say that the reason you're not going to properly upgrade everything - just a chip and some wheels / suspension bits and a couple of bits of bodywork but not a full set - and that we shouldn't judge you on your choice of modded chariot because you don't even like Audis, is a stupid explanation. Grow up. Face the fact that you can't afford to both run it and do the upgrades, and should have bought a better car in the first place, and that nobody even believes you have actually got the car or bought the upgrades anyway because of your previous child-like responses on the forum.

Either buy the car you want, or drive a car you don't want while saving for the car you do want. The idea that you would buy a car you really don't want, spend a large portion of the value of the car on buying bits of 'upgrades' to make it firmer over bumps, and opt for the diesel version but then get an ECU mod to sacrifice fuel economy without even putting it on a dyno to see how it performs before/after... just beggars belief really.

You are talking to grown-ups on a forum. Some of them like cars and motoring and know what they are talking about and can see through your BS. Some of them don't have much of an interest in motoring other than being anal about the Rules of The Road or the moneysavingexpert aspect of it, but come here anyway from the other MSE forums for lighthearted banter and a bit of entertainment while they take the mick out of those that take it too seriously. I'm really struggling to see which crowd you think you're playing to. Have you got some photos of your TDI then, if it exists?
  • He does have photos of an audi they were posted under one of the AE`s a while back.

May have even been his car :rotfl:
