    Well a £200 android phone would be comparable to an iPhone - my £250 honor 6 is equal to or superior to an iPhone 6 in every way that counts, including build quality and user experience.

    But I didn't mention any of that when I posted before because the op was after the best way to buy an iPhone, not advice on whether to buy an iPhone.

  • I think we can leave the Android or IOS debate for another thread entirely - everyone has their own view on it.

    Let's just say that I - as a long time iPhone user - am happy with my deal, and if you think the steps I have taken will benefit you in any way regardless of the phone you decide on, then go for it.
