We all have regrets in our lives but if that's the worst you've ever had, you've indeed led an enviable and charmed life. :)

as a committed socialialist, wasting other people's money is built into your DNA
what all you socialist don't understand, is that this money has other better uses (like say the NHS or giving it to the Scots)

Thanks to topcashback Sky have been paying me to have broadband and now fibre for the last two years.

I just assume internet is always going to be free from now on.
Do tell how, I have never managed to get broadband plus the unwanted but no option line rental for free each year without switching. No point claiming your broadband is 'free' if you are paying 16 quid a month or more for 'line rental'
    I think....

Oh dear, it's little wonder the grey cells don't fire up quite as quickly as they used to, so who's joining me in the Gatwick Flounge this morning for some crappy bacon and eggs, here's hoping the BA bus driver managed to get a bit more sleep than myself ;)

On the bright side it looks like early showers which won't hang around and a reasonable 27c, if I have a productive morning I may have to reward myself with a walk to the beach for a swim, fingers crossed the Spanish girls haven't forgot how to wear a bikini :D

So you're including your commuting and pool time in your 0500 to midnight "working hours"?

Most definitely, unlike some if I have to commute I'll try to make reasonable use of my time, no angry birds or YouTube clips of kittens for me :D

Hit the ground running and achieved a couple of things this morning, improved relations with Ze German contingent  105tv5s.jpg

Then learnt a bit about reverse engineering from a Master, and also picked up a couple of nifty pieces of history from the Catalanes, you can't beat the real locals for that sort of thing ;)

Anyhow the day is far from over, the first time we've all been together you see, so we're all sizing each other up, brains still ticking over nicely but I suspect Ze Germans will be testing out everyone's alcohol tolerances after dinner :D

I'm still learning, and obviously have to think pretty bloody carefully about ever word that comes out of my mouth so I think I'll keep myself on the clock, look's like I'll be running close to a 24hr session perhaps I'll give myself a bonus. Anyhow the suns out and the local ladies still know how to dress, a couple of Ze Germans are apparently on heat, so it's a brisk walk down to the beach this afternoon, a quick dip will hopefully sharpen the senses a bit.

Have to fly, hope you're having fun in Blighty perhaps we could meet up tomorrow evening between LGW and RTW, missbiggles does sound a bit saucy :grouphug:

    Much Love DTD :happyhear

If you are on ADSL you have no choice other than to have a phone line. How do you imagine internet gets in and out of your house?

Anyway, I would pay £16 a month for line rental anyway.

It is ungentlemanly not to have a land line.

Year 1 Cashback totalled £160 with only paying £5 a month for ADSL.

Year 2 I have just got another £100 for upgrading to fiber at £10 a month, so £20 for the year. They do insist you pay line rental which you dont need for Fiber,

All makes sense - I aim to get line rental plus broadband for free each year but to do so you have to be a new customer (and can't be done for fibre afaik).

On the other hand talktalk fail to realise that I cancelled my landline with them 2 years ago and still give me their half price mobile at 3.75pm plus £60 cashback by taking a new contract each year so mobile for free too :)
    I think....
