£47.84 OPed thanks to h@lifax, floyds, and t$b. :j Offset figure at £130,342.73.

Looking forward to Thursday when £5k of the offset money can shift to the mortgage as our 5% with n@tionwide is ending on 2 of the 3 accounts. Sad to lose the interest, but excited to colour in a bunch of bricks.

Things I did not buy yesterday: travel mug/tea infuser combo, even though it looks cool. I've never owned (nor missed the lack of) a travel mug, so £28 (plus shipping) unspent.

Things I did buy yesterday: yarn. In my defence, it was second-hand and on-offer, and from a fellow MSEer. And (most importantly) I have the money in my personal spends for the month to cover it. Now, though, I'm really done.

Text from FD this morning confirming yesterday's OPs - exciting to get confirmation of that again, not quite the same with offset savings account math(s).

Big money shuffle today as our n@tionwide 5% ended on two accounts yesterday.

Current mortgage balance: £125,332.73 Hoping to break through to 124s by the end of the month. Really pleased to have exceeded the initial (stretch) goal of sub-£130k already with two more months/payments to spare.

Thanks ETE - think the "powering through" will stop pretty soon as our offset accounts won't be worthwhile much longer. For now I'm relishing the impressive numbers, though.

Thanks for mentioning the [EMAIL="n@tionwide"]n@tionwide[/EMAIL] 5%. It prompted me to look at mine and I discovered mine also finish in November!
What a blow, my 5% current account and my 123 account all slashing rates! grrrrrr
