    Thanks all!

Back from holiday which was excellent - just long enough to feel like a nice break, but not so long that it's super expensive. That said, we went over our vacation budget by about £150 thanks to eating out (and treating our friends a couple of times). We'll make up for it from other budget pots, plus the food was amazing.

Ended up with 2 offers and have accepted one. :j Should only have one day of genuinely being "unemployed" - last day of gardening leave should be a Thursday and new job will start on a Monday. The team's excited to have me and I think I'll like working with them. Bonus - didn't get 5k extra in salary but it's "set aside" for anything non-salary I want, likely pension. Total compensation should go up by about 10k compared to my current role, plus I won't have to pay taxes on the private medical insurance that I haven't used for a year. :D
  • Congratulations on your super offer :)
