    How is it April already?

It feels a lot like I'm no closer to getting where I feel I need to be. I knew I still wouldn't be working, and I expected that therapy would take a while to start. On top of that however, I've been spending money as if I earned it, and generally being incredibly frivolous and not doing what I'm supposed to be doing.

A few days before the end of March I declared that April would be a no-spend month. Except for essentials - which is NECESSARY food. There's a difference between that and things like chocolate and sweets and take aways!

So far, so good. Two days out of two is better than none, right?

I know. First quarter gone already. My new born is 6 months old this coming week. To me it feels no time had passed and yet in her world all is massive change.

Well done on your 2 NSDS. My favourite saying ever is 'there's a reason the rear view mirror is smaller than the windscreen' or something along those lines. We don't need to see behind us as much as we need to continue moving forward.

It's when you think about little people's lives that you realise how much time really MEANS? (But then 3 months is half of your girl's life, but it's like hardly anything in our lives!)

I love that saying - keep looking forward. It's the only thing you can do something about at the end of the day. xxxx

    Hope you're well. xx

Oooh, I love it. Loads of inspirational quotes!

Today makes seven days in April that I haven't spent any money! (Yes! That's seven days in a row.) I'm pretty proud of myself, and hoping the trend carries on!
