    No deductions on statements. I actually didn't put my debit card details, i looked at my history it was a free sim.

    I sent some texts yesterday, the balance is now £7.00, I'll have to see what happens when it gets to zero

    Many years ago (about 1998?) I took out a contract with Vodafone and never received a bill, the commitment also never showed on my credit files. The sim worked absolutely fine for 5 years (with no payment requested or made) until I unfortunately dropped the phone in a harbour and couldn't retrieve it.
