If you'd followed that advice you could have started the thread by praising easyJet for how flexible they are when you make a mistake rather than complaining about how scandalous their charges are.0

Now you have a balanced view. One bad experience and one good experience.
Was there a benefit in booking via Expedia?
I have used Expedia twice before and have thus far had no problems.
If I'd have used the euphemism 'off-shore' instead of saying Indian, I'm sure the hostility would have been minimised. I do wonder if people love to concentrate on the words and not the meaning for their own self-glorification.
All I wanted to know was if there was a route open other than over the phone, but no-one was bothered by that, they just wanted to find offence where none was intended. I feel sorry for them.0

But why did you not book directly with EasyJet? Was it cheaper?0

flight bookings get 200 Nectar points with Expedia. With Easyjet its 1 point per £. so it depends on the booking cost.
Obviously amendments/complications may be more difficult through a 3rd party such as Expedia.0

I see...as I use Expedia from time to time, though have not ever bothered with Nectar Points.0
