Hello all
Can I join in again this month please, with a budget of £130? This is just for me.
This is quite a cut in my budget since October, but I got a trolleyful of bargains yesterday (now in freezer), so I don't need much shopping this week, except for a bit of veg.
I'm hoping a reduced budget will make me use up existing food stocks and teach me some discipline. - I need to stop treating food shopping as a (rather expensive) hobby, so I want to increase my NSDs. Money is pretty short in the run-up to Christmas, and I would love to come in considerably under this budget if possible.
My month runs from 26/10 to 25/11.
Thanks to our organisers, and good luck everyone!:T2025 goals

Hi everyone,
I've updated the budgets list
Welcome/welcome back to:
ej22, bilbodreams and wishus
Good luck everyone for November.
I did things slightly differently in October, in that I shopped weekly in Aldi with cash with a budget of £80/week along with £100 max on my credit card for other shops (mainly Tesco and Co-op). That was a budget of £420 and we came in at £420.65 so I am very pleased with that.
This month is a five week month, so £80/week plus £100 on credit card is £500. Hoping to keep to £450 though. I will be buying a few Christmas bits - won't go mad (famous last words....)
Have a good evening all

Put me down for £70, please.
It's going to be a challenge as I need to make some goodies mid-month and the ingredients are expensive, but I'm trying to limit the number of trips to the supermarket by freezing lots of milk and YS bakery goods - am hoping this will reduce the impulse buying! Also have enough fruit to last me for a fortnight, so am pleased with my head start.
Of course, a good weekend offer at Lidl could change everythingValue-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
