Does anyone know ANYONE else that has been off on maternity and actually PAID off debt and become DEBT free, despite redundancies etc?
You both should be so proud of yourselves

I didn't quite pay it all off while on maternity leave... But I did manage to pay it all off within 3 months of returning to work...... I think I did alright for a single mummy to 3!
That said Snaggles and Mr Snaggles have done wonder's coping with redundancies and Ryan's asbergers(I know I can't spell for toffee) and everything else the world has chucked at them! Awww, thank you all soooo much, you're lovely!
Dentist wasn't too bad, none of us need anything doing (hurray!), and Ryan got an extra sticker because he told the dentist he had Asperger Syndrome, and she asked him a couple of questions about it (just being polite and making conversation - it wasn't relevant to his teeth...lol), which he answered very honestly and informatively. He told her he felt like he was from another planet and sometimes this planet confuses him because humans are a bit weird!!! :rotfl:
Then I picked Stu up from work, and we've been at my SIL's ever since. Had a couple of celebratory drinks and collected the new laptop, which is all fixed and ready to go (not using it yet because I'm going to wait till the kids have gone to bed and then get things like email etc set up.
We've only just got home, I've fed Natasha, and Stu is cooking dinner (quorn fajitas).
What a lovely day! :T"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
ryan is a funny bunny :rotfl:
but a very good explanation all the same
dan doesn't ever say or realise he is 'different' but if he ever does i hope his explanation is as good as ryan's.
WELL DONE RYAN :T
glad you had a lovely day.
my hubby has been at work all day (well until 3pm) and is making a curry.:cool:0 -
I sometimes wish Ryan didn't realise he was different, because it does makes him sad occasionally. But he's so eloquent about it when the mood takes him, he really surprises me.
Stu had a nice early finish today, so it was great that he made dinner because he's a much better cook than me!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
