Hahahaha, I've been to the White Rose Centre, but don't worry, I only went for a walk round because I was bored with just walking to town and back every day. I shoved my pram round for over 2 hours, so I reckon that will have burnt off the cocoa pops breakfast that Ryan made me this morning, bless him!

I got some Ashton and Parsons teething powders to try and stop some of the 'biting' that has been going on during feeding times......I have been soooooo sore and I did not know you could get blisters in such uncomfortable places....

At least the blocked milk duct has gone and I am alternating feeding and expressing to give myself chance to heal!

So I haven't been to the doctors, but a lovely MSE'r has recommended Kamillosan to me, so will have a word with the health visitor tomorrow to see if I can get it on prescription (cheeky I know, but we're broke....lol!).

PS Glad you haven't been dumped! :D

I know, I know :o .....but apart from the aforementioned blister, I actually feel loads better.....

Plus I need to get Natasha weighed so...two birds/one stone and all that....

And the HV will know much more about breastfeeding problems than the GP I think.....

Are you buying any of these excuses? :rotfl: :p:D

Hey Snaggles - sorry to hear the bf is sore at the mo - William used to bite me but thankfully due to reaction of yanking him off and shouting no (didn't mean to - just a natural reaction i think!) he stopped soonish.

You could try the bfing board on babycentre for advice if you still need any...

Thanks Sea - I didn't even know Babycentre HAD boards!!

I have just had to feed through the pain, because she is refusing bottles, even though it's expressed milk....arrrggghhhh....but she's asleep on my knee now like a tiny angel, so how could I not forgive her! :A

She's got a BAD temper on her though when something is upsetting or hurting her.....I just don't know where she gets it from....

Have you tried feeding her from a cup(no lid) they lap at it like a kitten but it uses the same muscles as bf...
