I've got a good feeling that everything will work out for you Snags. You deserve it. When does Stu start his new job ?Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0

He starts tomorrow. He's really looking forward to it too. I'm just wondering if he will get paid while he's training or not....they haven't said. Luckily he has enough money left in his account to cover 2 weeks outgoings if he's careful, so it shouldn't be too bad (it's weekly pay where he's working, which is a bit odd after so long being paid monthly, but he quite likes it).
Things do seem to be going a bit TOO well at the moment. It's at times like these that I start to panic, and I cause things to go wrong by worrying that they will. I really must try to break that habit, and learn to enjoy the easier times."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Hope it all goes well for Stu tomorrow and that he enjoys it. Please try not to worry that there is nothing to worry about ! Easier said than done though I know. Now Snags repeat after me 'I am a beautiful, kind & thoughtful person and I deserve all the good things Life has to offer'. Thanks hun, I will give it a go.
Er.....I am fat, spotty and stressed and I deserve a bit of a break......there, will that do?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Aww Snags I wish I could give you the benefit of my accumulated wisdom (!) but I guess we all have to 'realise' things for ourselves. Have you ever looked at ceridwen's thread Simplifying Life ? Well worth a gander - in fact it is addictive like so much else on MSE. :kisses3: XX El

Hello, never seen your thread before, so much on here I miss. Havent the time to read 103 pages though. Pity I might know you better sooner if I had. Glad things are going better for you though. Will have to ear mark your thread to read from now on. (If I ever get Sky sorted out, properly) Oh and time now I go back to work!!:rolleyes:When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0

Afternoon!
I've just been speaking to one of the managers at work about my hours, and I think we have actually managed to agree on them! :T
They've offered me Tuesday & Wednesday evenings, and Saturday morning, which is perfect. Because of the problem with them not having a manager in to cover those shifts though, they have asked if I will do Wednesday days for the first 6 months, until I'm back up to speed with everything, BUT they have guaranteed that I can work the late shift during school holidays.
So I will have no childcare problems with Ryan at all, the only issue is what to do with Natasha on a Wednesday during the day.
I've just rung the nursery across the road from Ryan's school, and they are ringing me back shortly to let me know if they have any places available. If not, I will have to ring round some others, but being so close to school, this one would be ideal, so fingers crossed.
I will have to check how long the contract would be with them, and check what tax credits I will get, but I'm really hoping this means I can just go back to work as planned. It means I wont be able to do the volunteer work at Ryan's school just yet, but once Tasha is settled into a nursery and is used to going, I can see about her going for an extra morning a week so I can do that too.So from potentially no job to one better paid one and one just what you wanted in a few easy pages of a website...

Hi Mooloo! Nice to see you over here.
I wouldn't worry about reading the whole diary, most of it is just random ramblings about stuff anyway! Hope you get your internet connection sorted soon.
Elli, I will give that thread a read, thanks. Here is my positive thought for the week.....are you ready?
'I HAVE QUITE A NICE NOSE' :T
lol....there you go, is that better?
BB - yes, thanks very much for your advice. In fact, they rang me while I was out on Friday evening, and left a message asking me to phone back on Monday, and I didn't - I waited for them to come to me....heehee.
But I have to say, in the end they were lovely anyway, and it has put my mind at ease about going back."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Awww, Tasha can 'clap handies' and do 'sooo big'! It's so cute. I might have to YouTube that.
I've been a good DFW today - me and Tasha walked round the White Rose Centre for 4 hours and all I bought was 2 pairs of (desperately needed) knickers from Primark for £4, and a bunch of bananas for 85p, because I'd forgotten to take any baby food with me.
I was going to buy a new top for the weekend, but realised I have a perfectly good top, so I managed not to spend! Stu bought me a fab bag at Asda last night though, so that can be my little treat.
Oh, and I'm still sticking to the diet - I was getting very depressed because no matter how hard I dieted, I didn't lose any weight, in fact this morning, I appeared to have put 2lbs back on. Then I moved the scales to the bedroom, and instantly it went down by 6lbs!Either the scales are dodgy or the floors are wonky. So take your pick - I have either gained 2lbs or lost 4lbs.

just catching up with your news - i'm glad the hours are sorted - you are a valuable asset to them
