What about putting money away for the camper insurance - also money for going away - or collect leisure vochuers on Pigsback and use them for Haven Camping sites.

:T Great news hun. Really pleased for you. Give Stu a big slap on the back (or summat) from me. Whoo hoo. How is everyone in the Snags household. Are you and Tash feeling better? Has Stu recovered from his bump the other day ? What will Stu's new job entail. This turning into 20 questions lol. Last one - is Ryan on half term this week ? Some of us were wondering were you were earlier. You know you are not allowed a 'proper' life don't you. Take care X El
Sorry Ellidee, I forgot to answer this - we're all fine thanks - Ryan had a bit of a meltdown last night, but that's because he had been to his Grandparents, and he's terrible when his routine is changed. Natasha seems to have got over whatever was wrong with her. Me and Stu are both okay, and getting on really well (we've even been playing Scrabble ;)). He seems to have got over the shock of the accident too, thankfully.

His new job is pretty much the same as what he is doing now, but it's a permanent position. He's a multi-drop driver, but there's also a good chance they will put him through his 7.5 tonne (C1) test at some point in the future too.

And yes, it's Ryan's half term this week - he's keeping me busy! :D

Thanks Snags. You had so many good will messages last night I didn't expect a specific reply. Really pleased things are going well for you and what lovely weather we are having for half term. Will be sending a pm now. X El

With regard to your account fee - are your phones not covered on your contents insurance - might be worth finding out.....as for the travel insurance, are you planning to go abroad this year? If so it might be worth looking that the level of cover you'd need through a different source - it might work out a lot cheaper......

Obviously the account fee may cover other things I don't know about that make it worth your while.
They're only covered if they are stolen from the house....I will have to look into that next time I renew though. We might go abroad in September if we can afford (depends if we move house or not really), so it saves us quite a bit sometimes. And I get a few other perks like text message banking and stuff for free, which make it worthwhile. It would be the first thing to go though if we had to cut back because i couldn't find a job.
Have you put in for disability and carers allowance for Ryan? (sorry missed some of the thread so not sure if you did it) My friend gets the middle rate for her son which is (I think) about an extra £85 per week including the carers bit.
I've half filled in the forms.....there's an Aspergers support group near me that give assistance filling them in, so once I've finished, I'm going to get them to check it over for me. I really must get that done this week. :o
When are work supposed to be getting back to you?
About a fortnight ago! I haven't chased them because I wanted to see if Stu got the job or not, but I think I will ring them if I don't hear from them this week.
Good luck to DH for his new job
    Thank you :D

Yes, I should do that really- it's fairly cheap to insure, but it would be one thing less to worry about. Or I could maybe try to cover it with ebay sales.

We got a price list through from Haven the other day, and the site we have been to a couple of times is £84 a night during the spring bank holidays! I'm sure there are cheaper ones though, so I might do that - we usually use Pigsback vouchers for nappies from Boots, but I prefer the Tesco nappies really.

Oh, sorry, it is covered by the £250 shopping budget. That pays for food, cleaning things, etc.
