Ryan did have a childminder - he loves her to bits - she has had him since he was a baby. But he can have quite violent outbursts, particularly during the holidays because his routine is disturbed, so I daren't send him there any more, as she has 3 children of her own, and has other kids there too. It's definitely something I will ask about on Monday.
I hope you manage to find something for your son. It must be really difficult."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
routine is the mega difficult one from day one of any holidays he has to have a schedule that the school make him with all the symbols and stuff on so he knows when he is going back to school etc.
have you asked her if she would have him ? if she has had him since a baby wouldnt she be perfect?
dan is 15 but i still worry about other people and what they think
his latest thing when people stare is to say 'what you looking at i'm not a telly' same charm school as his dad i swear!0 -
I haven't asked her - he stopped going about 2 years ago when his violent outbursts got worse - she was struggling to get him through a single day without him hitting someone (or himself - or banging his head against a wall, which is a particular favourite of his), and it was unbearable for everyone involved really.
Your son sounds as though he has a great attitude to it - good on him for standing up for himself."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

No, still nothing!
I'm not going to ring just yet though - I will give them a little bit longer to give them chance to discuss it, and to give me chance to think through everything. Plus I'm not feeling like talking much because I think I've got an abcess or something - my mouth is sore and the side of my face is swollen, so I'll wait until I feel better before I tackle them!
Why do you only ever get these things on a Friday, when everything is shut for the weekend? :rotfl: I hope I don't end up needing an emergency dentist."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Oh I didn't - I once got one on a tuesday. Christmas Eve..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Don't be fooled into thinking that any job would give your brain some exercise!! I've done this a couple of times to my doom!! I've worked in call centres and behind tills and its more grief then its worth. Your surrounded by people with no brains all day, and bossed around by teenagers!!!
