    Hiya!

Well it hasn't gone too bad, I'm still finding I feel quite angry and am struggling not to get cross with him,

Are you angry in general, or just with him.

His counselling session was a complete waste of time - they sent him to the wrong clinic (they had forgotten to tell us that they were seeing him at our local doctors surgery and not at their offices, where he went for his booking in appointment), so he only ended up having a 20 minute session by the time we had driven all the way back. And basically all she has told him is that we should communicate more....

    Well, duh!

Yep, alas a lot of the medical profession tell you the obvious a lot of the time. But you'll be able to see whether they come into their own, or remain mired in the apparent.

But hopefully any future appointments will be rather more constructive. ;)

Good luck to the pair of you for them.

That's a good question actually. I've been thinking about it quite a bit for the last couple of hours, and I think I'm angry at him, but I'm not sure exactly why.

I feel like he has caused a lot of hurt, in many ways, and his apparent lack of interest in us has been particularly damaging to Ryan. So I find myself watching him like a hawk, looking out for any tiny sign that he is slipping back into his old ways again, and almost testing him to see if I can catch him out. And when I inevitably do spot something, I am at boiling point straight away, and struggling to keep my temper.

I know I'm not being fair to him, but I am trying so hard, and it's really very difficult. :(

Thanks Hypno, yes, a lot of mixed feelings at the moment, but generally heading in the right direction I think, albeit via the treacherous mountain path.. :o

Glad to hear things are looking better.. it's not nice when you love someone so much but they don't show it back... I think it's a man thing.. :rotfl:
That sums it up pretty perfectly. Even though he says he loves me, I need more than words, if that makes sense?
