Hi All
Ziggy - Thanks for starting us today. Hope you are feeling improved?
CCL - Well from the weather here you got your wish for a dry day?
Hello La E - It does sound like youve been through the ringer. Really sorry. Hope it will be resolved soon, house stuff is always so stressful. And welcome back
LegoMum - Hope green fingered dad enjoyed his day in your garden.
Determined - FU are useless. Really sympathise. You and I, and at least one other person I talk to on here have all had serious issues with FU. My game plan is to switch as soon as I can, which will be before winter gets underway in earnest.
Tyrone - Fantastic news! £500 is £500 at the end of the day!
Dawn - Thought of you yesterday, hope it was a good service. Scruffy pup sounds adorable.
Twiggy -thank you, glad the mash was ok, gotta love DOMS havent you, if they are bad today, tommorow should be the peak.
Ally -Wow it feels like only yesterday you were declaring your debt freedom, that has gone so fast!
GreenSalad - Well done thats great
Hello to you MinnieMouseMummy, sorry to hear about your job by the way
DC - Your dog eats tomatoes? Thats amazing. One for Youtube?
Jono - I can barely see you in the pale pink, well done on stretching your butchers order, thats going to make such a difference.
So the day of Bob. Well. Not terrific. Had the worst days takings in weeks. I can only assume that the brilliant sunshine meant no one wanted to be inside. Tommorow I need to leave on the dot of 3 as I have my last scan, & you can bet your bottom dollar it will be bedlam. Or I kind of hope so, because I need the takings.
Things really are so touch and go since reopening. One week I think its ok, the next, a few slow days, & it puts me back to a very dubious position. Kind of fed up of having to live life 1 day at a time, with no ability to plan.
All I keep thinking is 1 more month (after I pay this rent on tuesday) & I will have 2 months rent break. Which will help.
We also found out OHs bike is not covered by our insurance as we didnt have personal possession cover. When we took the policy out last year none of us had bikes. With OHs bike only 3 weeks old to us, we'd barely gotten used to having it in the house before it was stolen. A costly lesson.
Worst thing is, if he reports it to his company as stolen, the entire balance has to be repaid in full then and there. So we just have to suck it up and pay the installments...
I am looking forward to a nice wallow in a hot bath to cheer myself up very shortly.
Have a good night everyone!

Hello
Well we have almost made it to the end of the week and I feel like a new woman for having had a free lesson and a couple of hours of work after school. I'm all planned for next week and even sneaked a set of books through marking as well. It's amazing how much better I feel once I get some actual work done.
Managed to get DH to hoover and get some more milk so I can declare another NSD as planned. And the weather stayed dry so my washing was well aired when I got home.
Bob, I'm so sorry to hear the continuing hassle with the bike. It's awful when things are going wrong left, right and centre. Not giving up

You beat me to it! Of course it has to be Li@l's own version.
Tired tonight, manic day. Sorry things are rubbish Bob - what an awful situation with the bike.
I seem to have slightly more money in the bank than I should have, too tired to work it out now. I am sure my calculations are wrong.
However - keeping to the theme of the thread I refused to buy DS a drink from the machine in the leisure centre after footie practice. I told him before we went out he should take a bottle of tap water with him.
Going to read now, DS is hovering. Night all x0 -
Bob: That's grim. Sorry to hear it. Hopefully good things are just around the corner.Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0

I'm up late [STRIKE]fretting[/STRIKE] planning.
Job-hunting hasn't gone smoothly today and I feel a bit like I'm banging my head off a wall with endless bureaucracy. :wall:
Anyway:
(1) Everything is actually fine.
(2) Money is fine.
(3) It's nearly the weekend.
So I'm staying up til I've got a calm plan of action for tomorrow.

i'm not in any debt or anything but I wanted to tag along.
- Took lunch & water to work
- Went straight home after work
- walked in and back out of sainsbury's because i didn't want to pay for fruit when i had some at home
- Never purchased anything that i'd count as a spend (I brought my weekly bs ticket for work and it's planned so i don't count that as a spend since I don't drive):xmassmile EF: £10/£2,700 :xmassmile Fun:£10/£1,000 :xmassmile SPC#054 = £9.00 / £100.00 :xmassmile
