    Morning DFW-ers,

As my debt-free-ness glides from three months to four I'm trying to stay positive today and get lots done.

    Nillionaire Month Four:

    * Test out my sore shin with a 3km race-walk to see if it's recovering. See if blackberries are ripe yet as I pass them.

    *
Checked Finances. Still waiting on energy company refund and outgoing PayPal payment.

    * Limited caffeinated drinks to three coffees today.

    * Eat random tins from church food parcel gift. They just stuck a card through our door saying to pop in and see them tomorrow as they have something else for us. :D Wonder what it is?!

    * Turned alarm clock off at the wall til tonight.

    * Did job-seeking tasks.

    * Washing out on line.

    * Sponged mark off curtain. I did this the other day but it seem to have come back.

    * Did own pedicure.

    * Did housework using Stardrops and washable cloths. Floors needed doing properly; I just used boiling water and third of a cap of Flash. Kinda dodged this last week. They were really awful.

*Do MothNight for free entertainment. (Link)

    * Will tidy front garden once nosy neighbour goes to work. Not in the mood for him right now.

    Freebie:

    * Look again on Doors Open Days sites for free entry to attractions this week:

    Scotland. (Link)
    England. (Link)
    Both Irelands (Link)
    Wales (Link)

    Have a good day all.

Really happy, yesterday I paid £150 off my credit card. I'm now over 60% of my debt paid!! Updated in sig.

I'm due payment from a client next week and though I won't hold my breath, if it comes through I can bring my debt total on credit card below the £1000 mark which will be a nice feeling.

:starmod: [strike]Get all washing put away and get as many loads as possible on[/strike] not quite complete, still a whites wash to go
:starmod: Write a shopping list for Saturday's fabric shop
:starmod: [strike]Check post for railcard (I so hope it arrives or it's £11.90 down the drain!)[/strike] It arrived!

Go to uni and take packed lunch *done*
    Check banking *done*
    Catch up with onepoll *done*
    Have a NSD *done*
Do 2 loads of laundry *done*
    Check FPL *done*
    Check luckyphone *done*
    Revive swag$ account *done*
    List 2 items on ebay

Cucumber goes really well in a gin & tonic...
  • Hello Everyone,

Ahh the garden cucumbers..my mum's got cucumbers and little tomatoes everywhere at the moment. Luckily my dog loves snaffling the tomatoes before they get picked so they won't get wasted.

So today I phoned the Student loan company and sorted the paperwork to pay MY LAST PAYMENT next payday! That means an extra £130 a month in my wages which I'm over the moon about.

Had 4 NSD's this week including today.

Packing in some overtime at work yesterday & today because every little helps.

    LBM-November 2019 - Total Debt £28,000/PAID!
  • La E :hello: lovely to see you back :) OMG what a living nightmare  hope everything goes through quickly from here on in!

Thanks DNMS :grouphug: That's so frustrating about your direct debit going to come out twice - hopefully you can sort it all (again!) before it bites!!

Oh my goodness La E. So sorry to hear that. If we'd known we'd have offered you our spare room....mind you it would've been a heck of a daily commute to work for you.

Cheers my dear - you are v kind :A

Everyone has been really great to us - we've got a lot of thank you cards to write! :o

    Nice one DC! :T

Ha ha - my dog loves tomatoes too - they are so funny snuffling them out wherever they hide.
  • Afternoon All. Hope things get sorted for you soon La E. DNMS - how did the interview go - sorry if you posted and I missed it?

My list for today, I have/will:
    Go for run
2.5 loads of washing on cheap leccy, dried outside
    DW on overnight
Frozen waffle (defrosted obviously :rotfl: ) for brekkie with a banana that had seen better days
rest of meals from stores. Cheap pasta for tonight as my 'unplanned' meal of the week (i.e. forget to get something out of frreezer)
Plan butchers shop - we get about 3 months at a time and we're nearly empty - love the challenge of seeing how far it can stretch :D
    Quick shower
    PAD to CC
Paid off Facebay sale too to CC
Gather paperwork for tax return - small steps and all that ;)

Think that's all, will try and check back in later
