I am very worried that I've missed out on this - seem to have no recollection of it all.
Yes I know its tiny but even so
We have not even had any post today “Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
My mum gave me some vouchers the other days for slimming world at iceland. Buy something or other and get a sauce or soup free. I'd be more specific but I'm curled up on the sofa with a duvet and cat and the voucher is all the way over there *points weakly*
Shame I won't be using ittweets is it something you could use?

Savvybuyer wrote: »I see that T PP is changing to exclude own label. Thus undermining, IMO, T's previous 'you won't lose out whether it's branded or own label'. So, not going to be refunding the difference on own label. I don't know whether this means that T wants to hike the prices of its own label ranges up (in order to avoid losing profits, which is only reasonable from its POV of course:rotfl:) - T isn't really that more expensive on its own label than elsewhere is it? So really, maybe the dropping of own label gives the impression to some shoppers that T is charging them more - after all they no longer have the "reassurance" that they won't be paying more on the own labels than the competitors - or, more likely, it won't give any impression to shoppers generally one way or another as no-one pays any attention to these changes anyway:rotfl:. (Only us.)
What it means is do not buy own label from T (unless there really is a quality difference and, for me, there never is:rotfl:) where T is more expensive than elsewhere. However, it does also mean that if T is cheaper on its own label than a our 'choice of competitor', then we can start using those items as fillers without affecting any price refund back (once the change has happened). Nonetheless, buying any fillers is still paying them more money than we would otherwise and, with T PP, unless it's cond.spends, there's no sense to buying ten items and matching on three when you could have just bought the three at their cheaper price elsewhere and not spent extra money on additional items (unless there's some really good glitch that outweighs, that we need 10 different items for in order to trigger the PP).
Ta for this, I still have not quite got my head around what is going on in Mr Ts - I think I might have to write out a step by step idiots guide
The worst of this us that as far as I know Mr T has not made a public announcement so joe Public is not going to have any idea what is happening
And how is Asda going to react - its now very much the original and best scheme - last man standing
But basically if we didn't trust Mr T before we def won't trust it now. It will still be good for bargain hunting, clearance items and looking for 1p and 4p items, odd things to get for cashback and that's about it.
I have a small TPP to use. I am also wondering about getting some of the tuna things to use the magazine MOCs if they are still on offer“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
As tesco price promise draws to the end, Some customers will think that Tesco are doing this for the customers. Is that not the excuse that supermarkets use? Well thats not the case. They are fixing another glitch that was never shared on here.. Because the person that found it didnt want it to be posted and shared on a public forum. It did however take tesco over 2 years to find it.
If I had found this glitch I would have shared it with others on here but sometimes you have to respect the people that find these glitches, and anyways I was a banned member at that time I think.
Ill give a little update tommorow about 4 ishHenlans style!
