I see that T PP is changing to exclude own label. Thus undermining, IMO, T's previous 'you won't lose out whether it's branded or own label'. So, not going to be refunding the difference on own label. I don't know whether this means that T wants to hike the prices of its own label ranges up (in order to avoid losing profits, which is only reasonable from its POV of course:rotfl:) - T isn't really that more expensive on its own label than elsewhere is it? So really, maybe the dropping of own label gives the impression to some shoppers that T is charging them more - after all they no longer have the "reassurance" that they won't be paying more on the own labels than the competitors - or, more likely, it won't give any impression to shoppers generally one way or another as no-one pays any attention to these changes anyway:rotfl:. (Only us.)

What it means is do not buy own label from T (unless there really is a quality difference and, for me, there never is:rotfl:) where T is more expensive than elsewhere. However, it does also mean that if T is cheaper on its own label than a our 'choice of competitor', then we can start using those items as fillers without affecting any price refund back (once the change has happened). Nonetheless, buying any fillers is still paying them more money than we would otherwise and, with T PP, unless it's cond.spends, there's no sense to buying ten items and matching on three when you could have just bought the three at their cheaper price elsewhere and not spent extra money on additional items (unless there's some really good glitch that outweighs, that we need 10 different items for in order to trigger the PP).

Of the 25 items on my Tvs M list at the moment, 14 are own label (unless I have miscounted). So, it's about half of the list at the moment, although some of those are same price at T and M and there as fillers.

Thanks to OP just got a Chanel Mascara sample delivered. :j Can't remember applying for it. :o

My joy of getting a decent freebie is short lived though as apparently I don't wear mascara often enough and it will dry out before I finish it so guess who has pinched it DD3. She says will last her a week. :rotfl:

Now reading the card that came with it think I will be missing out.

This was the sample I got Tiny that is alas not mine:(

Looks like we are both dipping out Nanny in favour of our daughters. ;)

I don't think I applied for the girls separately but at least this one arrived unlike the Clinque. :o

From monday you wont get a voucher any more, You will get the amount taken off before you pay. They are also saying they will only match brands and not there own.

So what happens if the till goes into minus?

I suppose if you know something is going to glitch you would have to make sure you have enough items in your basket to cover it.

Afternoon all, hope the poorlys are bearing up manfully

We have had a quite nice Saturday :j

I had a scan appointment this morning, yes a Saturday morning appointment only arranged a few days ago, very weird being just about the only person walking around the entire hospital (just routine before anyone starts a full scale panic)

It made me wonder about all of the people on endless waiting lists and the under used facilities not being utilised at weekends - the working population who can't take time off in the week and soldier onwards making things worse for themselves because they can't be seen or get things checked on a weekend.

Anyway that over with we went to Asda as I had an expiring APG - could not think of anything to buy with it so I just got cat food and morello cherry cordial - the glitches are going over my head at the mo and the cashback items are pitifully few.

I did though collect a few wombles to check later and a Mr Tosssers TPP :D

Then we went into town and we went to Marks to try out the new Christmas hot drinks in the cafe - gingerbread latte and millionaires hot chocolate (with caramel and fudge) - very nice but really more style than substance. I used my marks hot drink vouchers so they only cost 50p. Not been to Marks cafe in months since we got the Nectar Neros hot drink vouchers, sadly now finished.

I had a Marks order to collect - sale knickers and some lurid purple leggings which I am hoping are not as bad as the reviews say :)
Also a wilko order - loo paper and a Christmas fleece with snowflakes on. These were my Quidco £12 at least orders which hopefully will give me my tenners later this week - we will see. I just went for basic things we could actually use and need so that if the worse happened and Q refused the cashback it was not going to be a problem.

Also collected my pendant from H Samuels - this was the £5 gift voucher we got as a result of the cancelled order. Its silver with a single very tiny purple seed pearl. I had to add another £2.49 to it but I've got a bit of cashback to come.

In poundland OH got his tools he needed, also got Dove hand cream - this is usually £3 to £3.50 in supermarkets, Frusli bars to stop us going to Greggs, and also a quite healthy blue Aquilegia - best price I could find for this variety was £2.50 in Wyvevale :) also got mini tiramisu in litre pots to do a taste test on - these I've got before for )1.60 in Sainsbobs. :)

And then we went home via another town, had chips, yum and got 3 tops in the sale from M&Co which seems to have 20% off on top of sale prices so I only paid £14 - receipt says I saved £44 from original full price!
