I ordered an Indian takeaway for dinner. He's always like a hungry puppy when we order a takeaway and gets impatient because I can never give him an exact arrival time. He hovvers in and around the hallway and is usually on the door handle before the delivery person knocks.
No exception tonight. I was all the way at the other end of the house when it arrived. I was making my way to the door when I heard him say
'That's not ours, we're having Indian food tonight' Then I heard the delivery person checking name, address etc with him. I got into the hall in time to see what was going on but it was one of those moments when I couldn't get to the door fast enough to rescue the situation. I didn't get there in time to stop him saying
'I'm telling you we ordered Indian NOT chinese. Here's my mum she'll tell you'
......yes the delivery driver was a Chinese gentleman:o:o
I told him quite firmly to go to the kitchen. Well would he?? Oh no he was convinced there was Chinese food in the bags and he wasn't shutting up about it
The worst thing is we only order from takeaways that sell junk like chicken nuggets and burgers too because he doesn't even eat Chinese or Indian food :rotfl::rotfl:
I got a bit more than firm when he said 'I ordered an Indian burger and I'm not eating a Chinese one'
I was honestly burning up by that point and I had to threaten him with no food at all to get him to do what I asked and just go inside.
I tried apologising profusely to the man he just nodded and smiled weakly and was trying to thrust the food bags, which he was still holding, into my hand. Then he left rather quickly
That's a takeaway crossed off the list. And another addition to the list of people DS2 isn't allowed to answer the door to. I've already had to train him not to answer the door on a Sunday morning after he challenged some Jehovas witnesses who gave him a leaflet telling him he could 'live forever' :eek:
I need to have a conversation with him about it tomorrow but I haven't even figured the content out yet. He got very stroppy when I tried to explain what was wrong earlier.
JEEZYour DS just creases me up! I'm struggling not to laugh cos I fell arris over tip this afternoon and did a complete belly flop onto a concrete path - my ribs, hip and knees are rather bruised and laughing/coughing is really painful. Off on a trip to Spain & Portugal on Sunday so DH will have to carry all the baggage!fairclaire wrote: »Grilled pants are no good. I didn't look. I have enough pants plus back ups still in the wrappers and I'm off buying clothing at the moment as my size is fluctuating. I weighed 47kg on Monday :eek: so I don't want to find frills sticking out of the bottoms of my jeans :eek:
47KG!! :eek::eek::eek: think 1 lg of mine weighs that:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -

Afternoon All,
Sorry I've been AWOL, I'm still down with the sickness and flu bug. Nana's funeral is next Tuesday, thanks to everyone for the well wishes, it's taken a few days but my mum looks to be back on her feet, and my dad wasted no time booking them a holiday in a couple of weeks time to get away from it all.
Tomorrow we're at Leicester Comic-Con :-) hope I'm not too ill as I'm the only one insured to drive the van - at least until our renewal next month.
Also, just cracked on the heating - first time since April. Dreading the bill already.
Hope everyone's having a fantastic day / weekend :-)0 -

Just started looking through T. Direct small appliances & found quite a few half price or less. If you're looking for something might be worth listing low to high price.0 -
