So did you keep the toothbrush? I still don't really understand this.
Asda emailed me a week ago today saying they were refunding £17.70for the udis but I still haven't received it.

They didn't refund my subbed udis even though they said they did - I've perishing well had my own back though (several times over )! And i unfortunately had to return my toothbrush - DH forgot to tell me he had ordered 12 heads for a different make off ebay !

I have just made the mistake of getting my breakfast then reading your post FC, I am so glad my keyboard seems to take what's thrown at it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

And I'm struggling not to laugh as my bruised ribs are screaming at me ! I'm not as stiff as I thought I'd be this morning but one leg is really painful and I'm limping - the Santander ferry tomorrow might be a bit of a challenge ! Also, going down on one knee to do a bit of wombling this morning was NOT the wisest move !

    Never mind PP

Turkey is getting more dangerous  Keep your head down MKS ;)

Just saw the news too I hope all is well wherever MKS is.

It was supposedly peaceful demonstrations according to Thomson rep in the town (Side) near the resort I went to. But the newspaper article someone found showed it was bit more than that with the fires.

Really unnerving when the taxi dropped us off at the taxi rank near the ruins, men with megaphones lots of hustling and bustling. Police blocking the road.

And my heart sunk as we walked down to the ruins and an armoured vehicle drove past and loads of police with riot shields got out and stood in front of entrance to ruins.

Trouble is when you are in another country and you don't really know the culture or understand the language it is really difficult to judge what is actually going on. :o

We decided to turn back after only about 20 minutes, there were still lots of tourists happily walking around but I just found it too uncomfortable so never actually got to see the ruins on the beach at sunset as we never got that far. :(

I still belong to the FB group for the resort and there has been no other reports of unrest just the last 2 nights I was there so I hope all calm for MKS, no idea which bit of Turkey she is in.

You been drinking too much again tbw? :D

    :rotfl:

How very dare you ! Since my 'unfortunate' episode with the vodka etc and the toilet I've been just about off any form of alcohol altogether - aversion therapy works well and my weight has now dropped to exactly 9 stone. The coming trip to Spain & Portugal will sort that out though.
