Yesterday DH received a belated birthday present. It was a cookery book with one of the recipes marked plus all the ingredients needed to make it, so we did. It included rather a large amount of garlic. OMG do we stink this morning and so does the house. I feel so sorry for the poor man who is coming to service the boiler shortly 0 0

If you are thinking of taking a basket home instead of paying 5p for a bag you may want to think again

Love that you don't have to pay the 5p if you are buying a goldfish :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0

Good morning all, beautiful blue sky out there When I got up this morning the outside thermometer was reading 2 degrees C:eek::eek: When I got up this morning the outside thermometer was reading 2 degrees C:eek::eek:
Congratulations to your DD FC. I am curious, will DS2 permit her to drive him anywhere?
As for people messing about in front of new drivers, I suspect they may be picking on the wrong people. My DD passed just before that time when there was deep snow around. Some idiot overtook her late at night (she worked in a cinema at the time) then cut in and braked heavily, she stopped just in time in what should have been an impossible space The young do have fantastic reactions. The young do have fantastic reactions.
The funny thing was there was an off duty police officer in the car behind my DD, he really tore the driver off a strip and praised my DD:DWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

            Good morning Elite :hello:
Cold but sunny here in Suffolk.
Set the alarm for 7.30am as I've got my hospital appointment for my eyes this morning. DS3 going to take me as they will be putting drops in :eek:and I'm not to drive. I am quite confused about what I'm going to the hospital for now :undecided. My new optician refered me to the hospital as he thought my channels (?) of was it ducts (?) were too narrow to insert drop in my eyes, hence the appointment. Said appointment is at the Glaucoma Clinic , so now I don't know what to think . Ho hum time will tell.
Quick shower and a coffee then
Happy shopping xThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0
