FC - there are bargains to be had out there. Some people have more money than sense. When mum bought her flat, it was totally gutted & my brother put in an absolutely stunningly beautiful solid light oak kitchen & bathroom - top of the range stuff - mum paid him top penny. When we sold the flat a few years later the kitchen/bathroom still looked like new. Imagine our surprise when the new owners sold it a couple of years later & they'd put in the most awful cheap looking white kitchen:eek: There is NO accounting for taste at all! I'd have gladly bought that kitchen off them as it would have almost perfectly (320mm less on 2 walls) fitted into the space we're having after doors are blocked up/repositioned & kitchen units were still being sold.
I used to raid MFI bargain bins too - but at least I paid pence for them :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Gosh, do they still make them? We used to make our own streamers to go on the handles and attach one of those cards that came in the tea to the spokes with a peg
