I am addicted to these but just found out I'm a diabetic:o I'd already ordered a few months worth.

Henlans - surely it's not really worth all that work to sell for £1 when you got for 90p - not a lot of mark-up! OR am I mistaken at your cost price? All that time & effort for £5! Hope you got something a LOT more profitable too at the same time.

I'm not going to pay for a top of the range German kitchen in my 80's semi BUT am going to have all the little accessories that make a normal kitchen into a really good use-able one.

This is where I differ....I bypassed even the German kitchens and went for handmade and solid for our kitchen.....I spend a lot of time in it and I enjoy it....It was the cost of a new family car and some but at least I dont leave it parked on the road overnight!!!!

A kitchen has to suit the person using it(and every ones wishlist is different).... otherwise its bl00dy useless!
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

I think a handmade one is going to be overkill in an typical 80's semi!:o:D I'm going to go for a solid wood one & probably granite worktops & will be more than happy with that once I get the accessories like pull out shelving etc. etc. It'll last me out.

Never let it be said you dont have exceptional taste.

Won in a competition?? Although people traditionally like to think they are getting a bargain, so probably get a better response saying they fell off the back of a lorry.

As for kitchens, when we moved into this house it had a cupboard under the sink and an oven, they had ripped the kitchen out before they knew they had to move. We spent ages looking for a kitchen and ended up getting the cupboards from a joiners, it is still fine after 30 years, but could really do with new worktops!
