this is a good website to bookmark to check on Mondays and Tuesdays.

    http://www.accorhotels.com/gb/united-kingdom/index.shtml

register, log in and go to the Find hotels tab.
at the bottom of this page is a promo box and in it put

    MONDAY.

you can then search for hotels for the following weekend with special rates - Friday, Saturday and Sunday - Ibis £25, mercure and Novohotels £40 - a bit more expensive for London.

so the cities I always check - Saturdays are always rare and the good ones go quick

Stratford on Avon Mercure £40 Friday and Sunday

York - Friday and Sunday but not saturday
    Ibis £25 city centre
Mercure £40 - on the ring road outside next to the park and ride

Edinburgh Quay Mecure - £40 for Friday, Saturday and Sunday
    Edinburgh Ibis south bridge £25

Glasgow - Mercure and Nohotel for £40

Liverpool - Ibis Albert dock for Saturday night £25! Novohotel £40

Chester - both mercure for Saturday night £40

London - I try Greenwich which gives you some of the city centre ones, loads of Novohotel and Mercure for £40 -

OK, it takes a bit of organising to get child, cat, dog and house sitters so short notice but its good to be spontaneous sometimes

With the builder being here for the last 3 weekends and visitors this weekend I have extremely itchy feet - not been anywhere all month apart from one evening in Chester but hopefully someone can find a nice weekend room :)

Thank you Mhoc. I've a long list of hotel bookings for business trips I need to book, these include London and Birmingham which have    prices really hope this site may help :-)

Just about to book a C&C for today, I've a £12 APG to use with a £10 off a £70 spend... so can someone tell me do UDI's still fly?

I'll run back a few pages and throw in a bag/box of chocs to try out too... and nip in-store with a womble and pick up a bottle of pop and some fillers to see if it works - but that won't be until around 3pm so results at somewhere around 6pm.

    OK, thanks

So either the £2.09 price change on A.com was a pre-cursor to them going up or it's dependent on instore price (like udis were £1/£2.95 depending on the store)

(Nobody has been able to check out the Udis for a few days)

It just came... I've slowed down doing online shops compared to before though infact this will be my first for almost 1 month, compared to the hight of my elite when it was once or twice a week. While I've been back in the real world I've been wombling and going at reduced food times to keep things ticking over.

I'm never going to spend £70 on non-glitchy food though.

Someone is probably waiting for results but you could still get some (if you can afford to take the hit of it not working)

Of course a positive AM result doesn't mean a positive PM result, it all depends when the APG updates for the day

still waiting on results from this morning - sorry the system hasn't updated yet. Picked up just before 9 x

    Evening all :)

Just coz I know it's everyone's favourite question - what are the chances of choc bags working for c&c tomorrow? (bought a couple of bags on store today - def £1 a bag but def only compare as £1 a bag!!).

Also... any other things to look out for in a v M shop?

Will do a C&C first thing so will post on here to confirm xx
