  • Well done Nanny that's a fantastic amount raised. Your efforts were well rewarded.
Glad the weather was kind to you and your guests could spill into the garden, I bet there was nobody indoors.

    You too springdreams:)

Gorgeous day in Durham.......could we be having an Indian summer after all we didn't have much of a real one:o:)

Perfect morning for pottering. I love pottering:)

I got broccoli yesterday and the Knorr stock cubes using the 30p off GR voucher. At T last week I found a rather too large piece of Stilton whoopsied down to 30p. Broccoli and Stilton soup is on the to do list as well.. Don't put the stock cubes in a targeted shop.

Then I think I'll be pulling weeds and storing apples before heading out for a free coffee. Could be Nero or I think we actually have enough points for a costa:)
Then a quick nip into S to get some goodies.

    Sounds like a good day:)

My son and wife drove up from London on friday for a friends wedding in Ponteland ysterday. They popped to Durham as he went to uni there and wanted to show his wIFE. He said it was a beautiful day and his wife thought it lovely. Lucky to live in such a lovely place. Have a nice day . Just cleaned the fridge, watered the plants and hun out washing so I can just do a bit of pruning when I het back from leisurely lunch in Bath

Are you secretly relieved that it's over TS?

I should have invited Dotty to the party not a single can of carling got drunk. And I bought 2 cases. :o

Seems people brought their own or drank the beer Mr TS got from the micro brewerys or wine which I notice we have gained couple bottles.

But worse of all no champagne got drunk put 3 bottles in freezer to get cold quick and forgot about them, well and truly frozen solid by time remembered several hours later. :o

Left them out in garage so hope no corks popped overnight and it's still drinkable.

Do we know if the pop glitch will work today please ?

The Fanta, Sprite Zero and Lilt don't seem to have re-appeared on the A app yet so the signs are promising. Maybe wait for confirmation that others are seeing the same on A before jumping in. I have been told we have "enough" so not to buy more :(.

Out of interest, MSM suggests T still sell 2l bottles of Fanta Zero Icy Lemon - I understood this version had been withdrawn, but if not/re-introduced, could A and M please start stocking it again :D. We much prefer Zero options for kids and our health - seems odd to withdraw as you would think parents would choose Zero over normal? It was surprising how few Zero options were available in Legoland in the summer.

My eldest and her BF did the same this weekend - drove up from St Albans to somewhere near Bamburgh castle (?) for a friends wedding - it must be gorgeous up there this weekend.

One heck of a drive though

So these 2 are 178 miles away from us up North, one son and his GF are in China, the other son has gone on a three hour drive to Calgary and his GF is in Moscow - could we possibly be more spread about :D
