Morning
I woke up to a sickly dog this morning _pale_ I think there's a possibility he's been sharing Clive's wombled food. I removed what looked like a chicken leg from the garden last night but there might have been more.
I'm wondering where the cat is finding all this food. We have wheelie bins so you'd think he wouldn't be able to get at leftover food.
Very autumny weather this morning.0 -
Scan meatballs.
Last time I was in Asda the small packs that were in the bottom right hand corner had a £1 SEL but there was none left so I asked an assistant and she said that Asda are no longer stocking them
The little packs were useful for corner filling in the freezer and you def could not make them from scratch for £1 (unless you get very good reductions which we don't)
I noticed them in Sainsburys last night, the small packs are £2 :(but then I noticed that the big packs are also £2 :T
http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/sainsburys-price-comparison/Cooked_Prepared_Meat_And_Poultry/Scan_Swedish_Meatballs_395g.html
I suppose in theory thye would be good for adding to a sada v sainsbobs comparision shop.
£2 is the best price ever, very rarely on offer - these are not quite double the small packs but near enough and a very useful standby item - good for tomato sauce, pasta, easy family food.
They changed the packaging recently to one small and one large pack - I suppose this is the EU policy to make us eat less fatty foods - OK they do have a lot of fat. The pack says 7 is a normal portion but I might have to go lower.
In which case though how come Ikea give 15 meatball size meals“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Helen's feeling a bit chesty this morning so I think I'll go and buy a jar of Manuka honeyJeremy Corbyn for Prime Minister! Then we can stop wasting money on warfare, improve the NHS, build more houses for the poor, and improve community services.0

who is it that asked on Saturday or Sunday about contactless cards - I did reply but MSE was being difficult and then I got blocked
I've been using my contactless mostly in Aldi as I've hardly been out of the house but it refused a payment of just over £25 last night - must not have updated to the new level yet ???
This was OHs fault - I have no idea why I take him anywhere, whenever I have difficulties its something he has added to the basket.
He saw an under the cupboard light unit for the kitchen he wanted and he said it was £10 - it wasn't, it was £12.99 and that's what made my total so high.
Otherwise I've also used it in B & M - I just asked at the till and she said, yes it was contactless.
With it being month one and a short month its going to take some doing to spend £100 - I thought this morning I might either get something badly fitting or buy a gift card - just wondering who has contactless that also sells gift cards?
(This is the TSB debit card, contactless and part of this 555 - spend £100 and get £5 back, £60 a year - this new fangled technology is taking some getting used to)“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Wondering what Sloppy special I'll miss today:o
I've revised my weekly target down to £4 pw but reckon I'm more than making up for it in Nectar points:). I spent a while last night on live chat to them discussing points I haven't received, just to realise it's the ones that take up to 28 days to appear:oTo do is to be. Rousseau

That's unusual! We weren't the cheapest this time
We want you to be 10% better off at Asda, so there's a voucher for you below.
Based on comparable items... Tesco Sainsbury's Morrisons Waitrose
The cost of your shop at Asda was: £42.59 £41.10 £41.84 £1.34
The competitor cost would have been: £22.95 £31.56 £22.02 £1.60
To be 10% cheaper Asda needed to be: £20.65 £28.40 £19.81 £1.44
Compared to the 10% cheaper price £21.94 more £12.70 more
£22.03 more

We woke up to pigeon feathers on the patio:o
It won't have been Oz as he's too frightened of everything. My sandals have a shiny decoration on the front which spooks him out. I can't wear them in the house anymore. I keep telling him he needs to face his fears but somehow that advice doesn't seem to work on a cat:o:cool:To do is to be. Rousseau
