    Morning folkios :D

I had the best sleep last night. That's what sleeping in your own bed does to you :)

Asbo cat was playing my cat checkers up something chronic. Disappearing for two days at a time

Last night she was in within 5 mins of us getting home and she never left my side all night :rotfl:

I am also holding off and still in sandals. I've been in a Clarks pair all summer that my eldest said were hideous and she would not let me wear them. That was a few years ago and she seems to have forgotten now and made no objection when she saw me in them recently.

I am potentially facing a boot crisis

With my short fat legs I have problems finding boots that fit across the calves - even when I was young and lithe and lovely and before hormones had not lain waste to my physique my legs were always short fat and dumpy :rotfl:

But a few years ago I found out that Evans do nice knee high boots that fit my legs and they also have sales so i've been in Evans boots every since.
one year I found brown leather flat knee highs for about £20 and got 2 pairs in very slightly different sizes, they are on year 3 and cost me another £20 each last year to resole and heel last year.

I also got a black pair of not quite knee highs, suede type but not, these will be fine for another year.

And Ive got 2 new pairs secreted away.

But to my shock and horror my local Evans has closed. Worst still Evans in Stafford has also closed which was my main source of boots. So now unless I am randomly passing an Evans in a city centre - Liverpool or Birmingham maybe its unlikely I will come across sale boots
so I've got a boots stockpile which might last 2 years depending on if its a 6,7 or 8 month winter after which its either the expensive menders or ankle boots.
Of course you can still buy them online but then there is the mither of sending back if they don't fit - Evans shoes don't fit as I am 5 and a half but a size 6 boot is OK depending on the heel or lack of it ..

    Morning all
Well, it looks like it's going to be another nice day here. Have dropped the children off and had a quick mooch around Ts. Lots of reduction in their old Back to School section. Got a pack of 50 Crayola Supertip felt tips for £4.05. Perfect for the birthday party present drawer.

Am planning to do very little this morning. Legs are feeling achy after last nights run. Managed my best distance so far though - just over 4 miles. Would never have believed it! :D

Also they have some really good bulb packs for £1.39 - all sorts from 10 packs of tulips to 50 packs of anenomes

I noticed on mys this morning that the lovely Linda Mccarthy red onion and rosemary sausages are supposed to be on offer for 70p at waitrose this week - never seen them this cheap :j

so I have 2 choices - long trip up to waitrose to stock up or try and figure out a
    sada v waitorse list

the hardest of all of the lists.

Ooooh, now I need to find a local Giant stockist so I can try one or two of these. I like the step through frames and there is a few nice bikes there :D

I don't know if every BHS does it, but there is an Evans section in our local one :)
