I had glandular fever many years ago in my early 20s. It was completely debilitating! I had to take 3 weeks off work because it totally wiped me out. You don't hear of it much these days but it was always known as the 'kissing disease' because it's spread by saliva. I had a tremendous fever followed by two weeks of flu like symptoms and total weakness that rendered me to bed.
