Not sure we will get chance to do anything different before the party either. I had not thought about the floor, it was Mr TS who said we ought to take up the old before we decorated. Do you have a local carpet shop that sells the squares they have in the sample books? You could get hold of a few of those and at least have carpet where people walk.

He was asked how he had survived 34 years in politics and at the same time held in high regard by both his peers and opposite numbers.

I try to avoid hearing what he has to say, the prospect of him ever leading the country depresses me to say the least! The annoying thing, that is the first sensible thing I have seen attributed to him.

I bet that was a very interesting meal, how awful must it have been for him to hide behind normality for that length of time. To think that for a large amount of his life his feelings were illegal too!
