Today my ds1 had an appointment think he has ADHD just starting on a higher tier which should hopefully lead to an official diagnosis. That has took 3 attempts to put into words to sound ok I think? Should I post this here or not? Don't know

It's a scary thing to be waiting on this type of diagnosis Durham. Am sorry you are going through it.
It's ok to post anything on here. And it sounds OK. You must be worried :( and scared. There's not many people around at night these days to help out but I'm sure there are plenty of daytime people who can.
I don't have specific knowledge of ADHD myself. But I can sympathise with waiting on a diagnosis for these sorts of conditions. It's scary and it's worrying.
You're a good mum and you will cope with it ;) whatever happens. There's lots of help available if it turns out he has this condition. Try not to worry, although inevitably you will.

Things are so much better these days and children with problems that are on the radar are dealt with so much more quickly and better than they used to be.

Let me know how you get on :A

Fc just needed to say / write it. Have a friend who's ds1 has it and they are friends have thought for a good while something we needed help with but takes a lot of pushing through with it has took 5 years to get to this point. So it is just 1step closer to any help he / we need.
Im not scared & know all will come good in the end and other peeps have so much stuff going on mine is so small in comparison. I usually don't post stuff at all never mind home stuff. Feels better to have said posted it I think
