    Tenth Anniversary
 forgot to look for any discounts in my excitement :rotfl:
    Did remember TCB though!

Inverness is really pants for a night out though! There is hardly anywhere decent to go. We're heading off early doors, no later than 7am, not sure my traveling companion is too chuffed mind you, but tough I'm the one driving so she'll just have to lump it :p

Have to agree, although I am too old for it to matter to me now, to a 7 am start, we're heading off at 8, my appointment is at 1 and I want go go to ikea before we come home.:)

You could get some udi's and try them as parquet flooring:rotfl:

Bet they varnish up a treat

Of just cut a patch of carpet up from under the sofa, no one ever see's that bit of it anyway.

Would you mind picking me up an item of Swedish food for DS2 catering project Izzy? :o
I was looking on MYS and I'm going to be forced to pay for pickled herring that he can leave at school as far as I'm concerned :rotfl:

I visited Sweden as a teenager and was given these to eat. I was far too polite to spit them straight back out  but OMG I have never forgotten them. I've often wondered if that's why I'm not a fish person :o

Just pick a branch off a shrub in the garden and give it a funny name. Bet they'd never know the truth. Tell them it's a Swedish herb:o

Oh don't! He'd have me pulled up on that instantly. He's taking his project very seriously! I had the job of cutting and glueing his Swedish flag at the weekend. I had to de-construct it after putting a yellow stripe in the wrong place :o

He is also going to have to stop watching cookery programmes with me. One of our cats has been wombling in someone's bin lately. I keep finding random half eaten items of food that isn't ours in the garden. A half eaten pork pie on Sunday, I think a chicken wing yesterday and tonight DS2 came in from the trampoline and said 'Mum there's a langoustine in the garden' :rotfl::rotfl:

Sure enough there was a king prawn in the garden :rotfl:

    Hi all, newbies & lurkers
Belated birthday wishes to those I missed, hugs to those in need.
Have missed loads esp the Bella Italia how could I miss that 1.
Ck have u thought about using my Hermes for your parcel generally cheaper n u can drop them off as n when or have your local courier collect them for 20p each more per parcel. May be worth a look.
I'm still doing the c25k app but have been stuck on week 5 for ages, as kids were off n I was doing it solo, and every time I get there with it something comes up n I struggle again.

I have cardboard carpet in the downstairs loo.

Not sure we will get chance to do anything different before the party either. I had not thought about the floor, it was Mr TS who said we ought to take up the old before we decorated. Will definitely be cutting it fine to sort out anything else before Saturday unless someone has got some good ideas. :o

    Paint it--:)
I use to use wall paint but the tough durable one, from do-it-all but I think b&q do one as well. Far cheaper than floor paint easy to apply and quick to dry. I done as a temporary measure in a back hallway, lots of muddy shoes coming in, washed easy, when it was getting a bit worse for wear i used sugar soap then a quick paint every 2-3 months in the evening, dry by the next morning.
My temporary measure kept going on for about 12 years, cheap flooring. I painted over floor tiles and concrete.:)
