I have just spent a while cleaning up after my OH's blackberry wine that he has just put in a demijohn, the fermentation lock got blocked overnight and when it cleared it cleared all over my clean washing up, my worktop, and some freshly done washing :mad:

I would have made him do it but he had a job on this morning.

I then go back into the kitchen and the worktop is spattered again and the fermentation lock is not glugging. Blocked again so I whipped it off and cleaning it out. I bet it will get blocked again today though

Sterilize a piece of syphon tube, then have it in the hole instead of the airlock, running into a bottle of water. Does the same job, but does not block.

Am good thankyou wacky and am going to have NSD today and spend the day in the garden in this beautiful Sunshine ....lawns need mowing and lots of plants need putting to bed for the winter:(Might even manage lunch Alfresco

The lower red circle (£50k) is highlighting a position of what a physician associate can earn - which is basically a non-doctor (i.e. they have no medical degree and are not called a 'dr') who has to go through every patient they see with a qualified doctor. Really interesting. I had never seen the title physician associate before. looking on the NHS careers website it requires a 2.1 life science degree followed by 2 years post graduation course. So not to be sniffed at.
