Good morning again ;)just opened the French widows for a little fresh air to be greeted by that unmistakeable sound of a Spitfire:T in the distance it then flew over the house and what a sight to behold in peacetime....must have been a total different feeling hearing it during Wartime:eek:
I love the sound of them too Nanny. A few Sundays ago I was gardening and a lone Spitfire roared past. I was treated to a Spitfire airshow, loop the loops, dives, fly pasts, the works. :T
I sat there and thought how much my late father would have loved it. He was an aircraft engineer. His wish when he retired was to work on one. That wish came true, but better than he hoped. He got to completely rebuild one from scratch. I have photos of him with DS1 on his lap, sitting in the cockpit in the hangar. The day it first flew after the rebuild was amazing. I'll never forget the look on his face as it took off. Aaah, memories:D

In my 'industry' I've personally known of 3 suicides in the past 8 years. You may be letting off steam, but I see your references as scaremongering !
Up roar perhaps because doctors/consultants are being asked to work weekends. It's about time the NHS became a 7 day week health service instead of a Mon-Fri one to suit time on the golf course. Modern life is 24/7 365 days a year, god forbid other professional bodies deciding they didn't want to work weekends. The country would grind to a halt.
Why should patients be at a greater risk of death at weekends or immediately thereafter. Why is primary care severly reduced at weekends.
The NHS generally provide outstanding care in the UK and is possibly one of the best health facilities in the world, but why should it rest on it's laurels. The changes may not be perfect, they may not suit all, some of them may not work as proposed, but the NHS needs change and modernisation and it's about time something was done.
There a spike in death's at w/e's too when all the qualified docs take off and leave the Juniors to it!
The w/e my BIL passed away , there was one Junior looking after the A&E and some wards....he never got out of A&E...running around like a blueassed fly.....:("He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

Just cut the lawn as it was getting very long, after being away for 2 weeks, and a little stone has just hit the conservatory door glass, and shattered into tiny pieces
Might not be so expensive, but if it is building insurance should cover it.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Did you complete the task or just view it ?
I suspect if it's the later that a refresh will see it disappear.
Hmm yeah. logged out and in and its gone. Did do the task. It had "scan me" under the popcorn. But all gone now. wonder if it would have worked it I hadn't logged out and in again .0 -
