I have searched for the posts redfox as posted on numerous times but am hopeless at searching
I have seen quite a few posts on this matter today and redfox will be after you all0 -
Is it not? I have only seen a reduction in non urgent investigations at weekends while my family have been under the care of the NHS. I personally know a Radiographer who since I have known her has been on call out of hours for emergencies and had to leave family celebrations due to responding to emergencies, I don't call that Primary care being at risk.
I think you missed the point Karlie was making that junior doctors that are already overworked are at the front of the proposed cut in pay and increase of hours. I am with Ladyshopper on this one, these people are making decisions with our lives.
I can't even begin to think about it with a prospective junior doctor in my house. What she will be up against when she finally graduates.
Its not just for emergencies though, my mil is having a CT scan this Sunday morning,by appointment.
Having been to Holland recently and seeing a lovely english speaking doctor on a Saturday morning, I appreciate even more what service our heath professionals give us, free at the time of needing it.0 -
TS, if you have replied to me, I merely simply haven't seen your post yet, so it's not a case of me ignoring you (instead it's completely the contrary: I've just not seen your post) - I will try to get round to finding out and replying to you. In the meantime, all the best!:D
[...Does this seem like a somewhat anxious post of mine - precipitated by a feeling of anxiousness that exists only in my own mind and no-one else was ever thinking?:rotfl: Don't worry - lest I be misunderstood (again:laugh:) - I'm not actually feeling anxious anxious, simply trying to avoid potentially upsetting anyone else (probably totally failing and, instead, achieving the very thing I was trying to avoid lol:rotfl:) and an overviligence on my part to try to ensure everyone else as is well as possible.] Savvy:).0 -
I'm full of cold.
Was meant to be taking DS2 back to uni today. Idea was OH and I would split the driving (DS2 not insured on OH's car), going up today, dinner with family and drive back tomorrow.
Now we've all decided it is more sensible if I stay home.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I am such an innocent - so you can have new accounts if each one has a different email address?
so you just log in and out when the offers are on?
and what is the birthday surprise?
Yes, best done with a printed out spread-sheet.
Especially good at Christmas when they were giving free festive soup and a festive slice away at the same time. We've got loads of shops :beer:0 -

I can confirm that the Tesco £7 meal deal DTD worked today. It is I Main, 2 Sides and 1 Desert for £7
I bought
Spatchcock chicken £6
Lemon cheesecake £3
2 x New potatoes (herb butter) £1.50 ea. (trigger)
Was charged the full £12 so off I went to CS who as usual tried to give me the £5 diff until reminded about DTD. So got a tenner back. £2 for the lot:T

For the whole of October, Sainsbury's are doing a 10x Nectar points promotion for every litre of fuel.
This makes it equivalent of 5p off per litre for all Nectar card holders.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Nice move Sainsburys, just as the Tesco Fuel Save offer dries up. I know where I'll be buying my fuel from!0
