  • Morning, for anyone within reach, Ness gardens on the Wirral has a free open day today, opens at 10am. Well worth a visit:)
  • Home Bargains have an Italian 300ml cider for 49p, tried one last evening sitting on a bench in the sunshine, overlooking the Gowy and surrounds. Was hoping to see the otters that are there but no joy:(

    Nope :(

A few people have been checking for this. APG rarely picks this deal up

Morning all. For the second time in less than two months I've woken up full of cold. The last one turned into a nasty throat infection, hope this is just the common kind. Don't know what's going on, I rarely get colds in winter let alone this time of year. Today's options were either going to Legoland with free Sun tickets or to see the last stage of the Tour of Britain but think I'll just stay here instead :(
Might have a go at the choc glitch later as I've got a 7.95 APG to use up but my head feels so woolly I don't think I'm capable of putting a list together right now. The only thing we actually need is bread. All suggestions for good comparisons welcome.

I've been looking at Extreme Couponing and I am puzzled :o

I see there is an offer on there for a grant for solar panels but surely there is a catch. You can't get free solar panels, can you? I hope not, my sister bought hers

Yes you can, but with a lot of caveats. You have to have a south facing roof, and they get the feed in tariff, so it probably won't be continuing once the feed in tariff goes down which is shortly.

We are waiting till the price of the panels comes down and the tesla batteries improve.
