I can't believe I've been saying this wrong my whole life! I've just googled it. We have always said
Red sky at night shepherds delight
Red sky in the morning sailors warning!
What was my mother thinking of teaching us that.
Apparently it can be a shepherd or a sailor but never mixed:eek:
