I got free ones! Obviously the company that installed them makes money, as they get any excess I don't use that is sold back to the grid. However, I get the use of them (when home) so just do all my washing and drying etc during the day. I didn't want to pay out for them, so it's win win for me.

In the cooking department this week I managed to make a plum crumble with plums from the garden. I burnt it.....but I thought it was at least scrapeable?? The chickens enjoyed it very much and I tried to make a chilli tonight. I used OH homemade sauce and I added some spoonfuls from a jar of those lazy chillies......I didn't think 2 teaspoons looked enough :o:o
OH is coming to cook the roast tomorrow and the children have enjoyed the extra takeaway food at least :rotfl:

Sorry you've had a rubbish week. I know that feeling! I'm no domestic goddess either, and my kids are moaning they've run out of microwave medals whilst I've been in hospital. God forbid they get some chips or something out the oven and actually bother to read the instructions on the packet!

Just had a Groupon email. For £20 they will kindly give you £40 to spend at Very.

I've had a quick browse through the offers....it's all generally overpriced anyway but the Scholl hard skin removers......which range from £40 in Boots to £20 odd ish on Amazon are on there. There's the usually dearer of the 2 on for £30, so if you can find something else you need for a £10 it might be worth looking at.
There's masses of stuff and I can see myself losing the day trawling through so I'm going to stop there and do something more productive.

Good morning, Ladyshopper so good to see your feeling a bit better, when I was away my kids took full advantage of home delivery from tesco, you should of seen the carp they bought not to mention the alcohol which was down to the sixteen year old, my ds never touched it until he was eighteen as it was illegal , he is very literal, hope you do get home as soon as safe for you x:)

They are (68p each) 10 for £4 instore at asda but only 10 for £2 at Morrisons. So should compare as 10 x 68p = £6.80 at asda against £2 at Morrisons making apg of £4.80. So paid 80p to take away 10 yogurts

Big question is: are the Morrisons 10 for £2 showing on asda comparison? Anyone know?

Do you find you keep saying thank you to the person who sticks the needle in you? It's something I've noticed about myself lately ingrown politeness. Someone comes along and stabs you and steals some of your bodily fluid......and you thank them :eek: :rotfl:

It's dry ish this morning so we are off to the beach. I have 2 takers this morning. Ds2 and we are picking OH up on the way. That's quite nice for Ds2. He usually just has to put up with me. Hope your blood tests bring good results :A
