Hi guys. Hoping for some shared experiences here. I ignored 6 letter from NPC as surely a bloke who takes pictures of illegally parked cars in order to make £12 a ticket isn't right? I thought you need to be a traffic warden to issue a parking ticket.
After the first 6 letters they stopped. Around 6 months later I got another telling me they are going to take me to county court if I don't pay £240.
I need the letters to stop as they are going to my mothers address in Scotland and I don't want her worrying.
Does anyone know if NPC had taken anyone to county court before? And has anyone else got this other letter through after 6 months of no contact from them? Thanks in advance

In all seriousness, as long as they do not know who the driver was, and this continues to be the case, follow the above advice.

g0wfv. Thanks for the reply. I'll continue to ignore it for now and hopefully the letters stop. Yes I've moved back to Scotland but the ticket was issued in saffron walden, Essex.
