Gave up on any attempt at sleep... gonna be a long, scary day.

Poor Tea. :A I so know what that feels like.

Rest assured it will be over soon. Grit your teeth, buckle your proverbial belt and stride in there. We're all thinking of you. Us Golden Lights will be flitting around you like a warm, golden blanket. You can do anything with us there!

    Cream cakes for tea tonight.

I hope everyone's scary things aren't quite so scary today! :)

I love TBBT but I may have overwatched it (I used to just have E4 on all evening so would watch a lot of TBBT! :o) and the latest series just isn't doing it for me. I'm sure after a little break I'll love it again! A while ago I overheard some colleagues in my office discussing it and joined in; they were assigning characters to themselves and said, 'Oh, of course you'd be one of the girls...' (I'm thinking Penny?! ;)) 'Yeah... you're definitely Amy!' :rotfl: I do have a love for comfy dresses, cardis and sensible shoes so I can see why they opted for her! :p

I love Frasier though, like Tea says, there's nothing that Frasier Crane can't fix! 'I'm listening...' :)

Going to attempt to post a picture of my finished bedroom... :o

Hope this doesn't break the page! I can't tell on my phone.
The tissue box was a me-make which is why I took a photo of it! :-) I luffs my room now.

Confession: I tried watching Frasier a couple of times, but never really got into it.

Also, am I the only person in the world who has never watched "Friends"?

    Edit. Lovely room, Birdie!
    Love the bag hooks! :D

    Thanks Pyx! :)

I don't get how people have never watched Friends. It's like saying you've never watched The Simpsons. How have that many episodes escaped your notice?! I loved Friends, we taped them all off the TV (back in the day when that was a thing!) and watched them constantly.

Not really sure. 1994 to 2004 was an incredibly busy, confused and at times horrendously stressful decade for me, though, and I can only assume that it clashed with other programmes I wanted to watch/record, so I just never got into watching it.

I did watch the Simpsons though! So am I reprieved? :D

Your room is lovely Birdie! Do you fancy coming and doing mine?? I'll pay in jaffa cakes :D

I've booked a week off at the end of the month for decorating so I'll have no excuse but to get on with it then.

Scary work things starting shortly... think calming thoughts people!!

Also, this office starts really late! Technically our hours are 9-5.30 but in the office I'm based in we're usually there by 8. Would much rather start earlier and get home earlier. I've been here 15 mins already and there's not a sign of the people I'm supposed to be meeting - am just glad someone had unlocked the building!

Don't do Friends. Don't get the Simpsons. Slightly lost interest in TBBT when Penny got her hair cut.
Now if we're talking South Park, that's something else entirely.

PS and I've never seen Star Wars. :D
