Hello DomRavioli! Can I call you Dom or Niki, please? My memory problems cause me to forget long names! Or perhaps you might prefer Ravioli? You have friends now, the moment you step into this thread you are stuck with us and we don't go away easily! So sorry to hear about your difficulties but I am really pleased you are starting to try to leave the house. I am very similar and rarely go out at all.

Hope you feel better soon, Calley! Irritated bladders can be as bad as an infection, I have been there!

Hope you managed a nap, code and the pain is a bit better!

Well, the Doctor Who face is improving so yay! The bad news is that I appear to have hives over my arms and chest. I have no real idea what I have eaten or touched this time. There are no other symptoms, just itchiness. The only thing I can think of is I had a tomato which is on my sensitive foods list but before the avocado disaster I could eat them with no problem at all, I was shocked that I have a problem with them. I am now wondering if it's possible that the reaction to the allergy has made me more sensitive to the protein than I was previously? I have no idea...

I've got lots to do, but none of it things I want to do. At the moment the list for the weekend is:
Walk Gitdog who's had 2 days with no walks and so will be extra loopy.
    Train Gitdog - as above.
Do something about the contents of the holiday suitcase currently in piles all over the bedroom floor.
Do some ironing - can't get away with it for work clothes.
Go shopping for that dress for my do (really really not looking forward to this.) and sort out train tickets.
Buy the winter bedding, pot up the plants I want to try to overwinter, plant the winter pots.
NVQ - because having thought I'd finished I've found a missing assignment.
Usual shopping and hunt the sink under the pile of dirty dishes.

I know I keep saying it, but I need to get more done during the week instead of things getting stupid over the weekend.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Good morning, all. Welcome to the weekend!

Penguin * this is a newspaper article about a body left to medical research. It is a very interesting project but may be a bit much for some at the moment:

:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.
  • WW, have you seen that programme advertised about body donation? Can't remember when it's on or what channel, but it's been advertised a few times.

I think in a weird way it'll be kind of fascinating. There was one on a couple of years ago about a guy who volunteered his body for mummification,
