Sounds tough elsien. Like tea, I hope it's all just a misunderstanding and the safeguards will be put in place if ER leaves.
Georgie - your poor mum. Pain is really wearing and the weather isn't helpful for joint pains. Far too much damp. I'd rather have snow than this constant wind and rain.
Definitely didn't hear today. Not amused. I was told when I agreed to apply for this job that they wanted to move quickly, so didn't expect the phone interview, tests, face to face interviews etc. It's been 3 months which is not quick to me. Also this wasting my time with all this nonsense doesn't appeal. Here's another thing that worries me and I'm not sure if it's ok or not. When I was told about the maths test, I advised that I'm dyscalculic. No big deal, but like dyslexia, it's covered by the Equalities Act. When I told the agency I was told that they 'need to think about it'. They did give me extra time. But, after the interview as I was getting ready to leave it came up and he said 'Your maths test skills weren't great so we had to think about it. " Kind of new to this thing but is that an ok thing to say? It seems a bit odd like saying to a paraplegic "Well your stair climbing skills aren't up to much so we're not sure we want to hire you." In my day to day job I am more likely to climb stairs than work out complicated sums.
I very much get the feeling that they're being pressured by the agency to put me through and I'm being pressured into going along with it.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Is it evening yet?:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

Sent him a message two hrs ago and he hasn't even read it yet. Which clearly means (without a doubt) that he's on the hottest hot date.
Can't even find anyone else to chat to, let alone arrange to meet anyone. My head hurts, it's totm and my boss is in the office for the next two days. So much for my new year, new start.0 -
Hugs for tea. Other fish in the sea if he doesn't answer.
Awww. Gitdog is so adorabull :rotfl: At least he's not flown in there. When I was younger, we had an older lab - around 8, and a lab puppy. I was in the bath when the door opened and in came the puppy, she jumped up so her paws were on the side of the bath, had a sniff, tried to eat the bubbles, then took a flying leap into the bath, on top of me. Older dog took this as a call to bath time and she jumped in on top of me too. Then they both jumped out, ran downstairs and shook all over everyone :rotfl: I miss those dogs so much.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
