Had mine over 16 years, and I keep thinking it's got to chew up its bearings soon, but it keeps on going.
Mine is about the same age and although still working is definitely beginning to fail. A salesman we talked to tried hard to be diplomatic at it's age and being hot/cold fill. :rotfl:

I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

    Random question time.
I am watching the Undateables, featuring people with Aspergers. Got me wondering whether if I had Aspergers if dating someone else on the spectrum would help or hinder. On the one hand there's likely to be more understanding of how I perceive the world and day to day issues, on the other hand I or they might find it harder to make the adjustments needed by the other person. What do you reckon?

I am on the aspergic spectrum. I think it should be easier to get on with other aspergics but I find it just as difficult in real life but okay in written form.

I think this is because my interests are different and neither side seems to care enough about the other side in a getting to know you, insecure phase.

Ono, I agree Star wars was awesome! I went to watch it dressed as Han Solo and hubby went dressed as a sith lord. We got Escapette a bb8 bauble for the Christmas tree so she didn't totally miss out. Although she'd have made a good Yoda.

First day at work let loose seeing clients today. This is the bit I enjoy.

Dare I admit to never watching any of the Star Wars films? Is this the point at which I get drummed out in disgrace? In my defence, I do Star Trek.

I've watched all the previous Star Wars movies, but haven't watched the new one yet. I would treat to go and see it if he really wanted to but I don't think he's that bothered.

There a man in a white van pulled up outside, looks like he's repairing a neighbours car? (Eta: he's replacing the windscreen) But why oh why does he have to leave his stereo on full blast pumping out that awful techno dance crap? All I can hear through the windows is thump thump thump, arghhhh!
  • Penguin.

I am sick of funerals. My mother's best friend died last night. (My adopted aunt.) I am so scared that it's going to be my mum next. I had a massive food binge when I heard and I am just a mess. Not dealing well at all.

(Also - this was NOT your fault WaS, she was poorly!)

    End penguin.

Today is going to be harsh.
